Solid performances bolster an intriguing story in this effective chiller from Shudder that’s tense, suspenseful and above all, spooky!

This is how you make a horror movie. If anyone's capable of bringing Heart-Shaped Box by Joe Hill to the screen it's the people that made this spectacular movie. Pretty much perfect.

This movie genuinely scared me and I actually had to cover my eyes a few times. Definitely a good one to watch alone in the dark. Popcorn included. Enjoy!

I thought it would be boring, but I was thoroughly entertained. It was creepy at points too. One of the better horror/thriller movies I’ve watched.

First half was interesting, but it falls off and putters to a confusingly dull end.

Worth a watch! Very good original story. The story has a simplicity to it that works well and keeps you interested. Some good scares throughout. A great addition to the horror genre. A perfect late night movie that satisfies that horror itch.

A very low budget chiller with a more compelling visual style than a compelling (or surprising) story line. A palpable sense of dread and a few well timed scares make it worth a watch…once.

Scared the bejayses outta me. I love horror films and not many scare me, but this one had me genuinely on edge. Loved it. Best horror I've seen in a long time.

The plot is predictable and the characters are mostly not realistically engaged in the story. Having said that, it has moments that it manages to scare the crap out of you. It's worth watching.

This may not be truely 5/5, I had no expectations going in and it was so much better and scarier than other horrors of recent date that have come out. I couldn't help but rate it higher, with such a low budget and unknown cast, the film punches a 100% above its weight. Great directing and well shot scenes, building tension throughout, right amount of gore, no horror or movie will be perfect. However If you like horror or psychological murder mystery give this a watch.

Very unique, some predicable scenes but definitely worth a watch. Very suspenseful, a fair few hold your breath moments! I loved this.

The movie is truly a great movie, the main actress(Darcy/dead sister) is absolutely amazing. The plot is really well built, the home invasion scenes and the way the movie presents it is unusual and only helps build up the plot of the movie which is really good. The ending is kind of what the public wants it to be but doesn't fail to be really good.

A well shot and well performed suspense and horror movie without all the cheap gore. It's a murder mystery and psychic teleconisis terror wrapped in one with a humorous ending.

Oddity is the horror movie I've been waiting for, as someone who likes to get their scare on, I find myself constantly let down by the big budget horror films, but Oddity is a rare specimen where I genuinely had to turn the lights on while I watched it. Damian McCarthy might just be the new king of horror.
