Olympic Dreams Reviews
I'm not a "movie critic"- but there seems to be a new kind of trend in movies today where the story mixes it up a bit, and we don't exactly see the ending we expect. Or maybe I think that because I've been around so long? I love the restraint, the absolutely different personalties, as well as the young girl being the more 'aggressive' so to speak... but we did not have to see them betray themselves. They remained the people that they were, and yet almost crossed the line. Maybe she did not have so much to risk, except her heart (which is everything), and he had to live with himself. Sorry to type so long, but such a great story, and so well told... This movie exceeded my expectations. There was great respect to human individuality in this movie. Also a great story. And a fantastic ending.
A gentle love story in the backdrop of Olympic Winter Games starring real life Olympian Alexi Pappas and Nick Kroll. The first feature ever shot on location in the Olympic Village. Also loved that the movie was written by the trio of Alexi Pappas, Jeremy Teicher, and Nick Kroll and also stars the popular and hunky real life free style skier Gus Kenworthy.
A feel good movie that seemed more documentary than fiction.
First word that comes to mind? Zeitgeist. This movie is a top the Mount Rushmore of Olympic Dentistry movies, couldn't recommend it more highly, 5/5 fillings.
