Divorced heiress Anne Scripps (Roxanne Hart) becomes involved with a younger man, carpenter Scott Douglas (James Wilder). Her young adult daughters, Alex (Holly Marie Combs) and Annie (Sarah Chalke), are skeptical of Scott's intentions, growing more concerned when their mother becomes pregnant and marries him. The daughters' suspicions are confirmed as Scott shows himself prone to violent outbursts, making them fear for their mother's safety. This film is based on a true story.

This movie is so bad, it's great. This is the kind of terrible movie I actually really love to watch. "Daughters" is so bad, it's laughable.
