People do not recognize that this movie is a full on copy of Mission Impossible, Fast and Furious, and Captain America. Tasteless movie, highly don't recommend... Watch other Shah Rukh Khan movies, but please, not this one. Bad acting by Deepika Padukone. Watch her other movies, but please, not this one.

War für mich das Highlight des letzten Jahres. Es ist ein Film wie eine Sylvester Feier. Die Kampfszenen sind schnell und geschmeidig choreografiert. Es liegt wohl daran, dass wir es hier mit Tänzern zu tun haben. Auch die Kamera und Technik Crew wird wohl geübt sein Bewegungen sehr gut einzufangen. Der Sound ist perfekt abgemischt Jeder Protagonist hat seine Erkennungsmelodie, wie bei "Spiel mir das Lied vom Tod". Die Darsteller werden generell sehr ansehnlich in Szene gesetzt. Shah Rukh Khan mit seinen 58 Jahren (WTF) zeigt das Alter kein Thema ist, so wie auch andere Darsteller. Man Lästert über Unlogik und während man noch über so manchen Blödsinn lacht, verstummt man im nächsten Moment wegen Überwältigenden Szenen. So muss Kino sein. Pathaan macht Spass. Handlung ist eigentlich nicht der Rede Wert. Zuweilen nehmen sich Darsteller selbst nicht Ernst. Der Film ist frech, sexy, temporeich und emotional. Wenn der letzte Song läuft wo getanzt und gesungen wird, will man aufstehen und mitfeiern. So muss Kino sein. Pathaan muss man gesehen haben

Nice movie with great action

DIE INDER UND IHRE WINDMASCHINEN Indien steht kurz davor in ein riesiges Chaos gestürzt zu werden. Nur Pathaan kann sie retten, der seine gesamte Kampfkunst und Waffenkentniss nutzen muss um Jim aufzuhalten. Denn der will etwas aus Moskau stehlen, Pathaan muss ihm zuvor kommen. Ein Wettlauf gegen die Zeit beginnt, an dessem Ende nur einer als Gewinner hervor gehen kann. Dieser Film geht ca. 150 Minuten und ist ab 16 Jahren freigegeben. Wir haben hier Indiens Legende Shah Rukh Khan in der Hauptrolle dieses Action-Thrillers. Das indische Kino ist wie das F&F Franchise nur in unrealistisch. Der Unterschied ist das es hier gewollt überzogen und theatralisch ist, aber das macht es nicht wirklich besser. Die Handlung dreht sich um einen Gegenstand der geholt werden muss, um was genau erfährt man nach ca. 90 Minuten. Die Story ist an sich auch nur Nebensache, denn das Highlight bleibt Khan der einen übelsten Body vorweisen kann, wohlgemerkt der Mann ist 58. Zusammen mit Deepika Padukone (TripleX 3) bilden die beiden eine tolle Dynamik, die nur vor Witz und Action sprüht. Der Gegenspieler John Abraham ist toll geschrieben, nachvollziehbar und herrlich böse. Die Action besteht hauptsächlich aus Kampfszenen, in einem Zug gibt es eine tolle Planzsequenz, die ohne Schüttelkamera auskommt. Der Humor kommt oftmals so unterschwellig das man ihn nicht kommen sieht oder habt ihr einen Helden schonmal Schmerztabletten einwerfen sehen? Das CGI ist absolut schrottig, aber iwie erwartete ich das bei Bollywood auch. Genauso das jeder Charakter eine Slow Motion bekommt. Am Ende bleibt ein spaßiger Streifen, der sich aus Hollywood nahezu alles zusammenklaut was es gibt und vermischt es zu etwas so sehr überdrehten das einer Uhr schlecht werden könnte. Von mir bekommt der Film 6,5/10 Punkten. Man fragt sich wo Pathaan mitten im nirgendwo nen Friseur gefunden hat, denn die Haare sehen stets frisch geföhnt aus.

Acting, movie, SRK, DEEPIKA, direction, music, songs everything is the worst.

Excellent action flick,a little over the top but very very good and fun,watch this with friends and the fun double,the movie is about pathaan,a spy who return from a period of inactivity,everyone think he is dead at the start but no...simply because he is pathaan,watch out,chuck norris you have competition,more seriously this is gold,i highly recommend this movie for action afficionado and people wanting to try other thing than hollywood movie

I loved the movie! Great action, nice acting!

Despite the flaws in its writing, Pathaan benefits from great action, cool visuals, a great villain and of course the Charisma of Shah Rukh Khan. Add to that, the cameo of Salman and the whole train action scene is a treat for the eyes.

Thoroughly enjoyed the movie. It was SRK's movie all the way.

Bad rehash of Mission impossible

Let's face it Shah Rukh Khan is the greatest action star we have on the planet these days.

Overrated. Film is based on only action. No character development, bad storyline and worst dialogues.

Fantastic movie with great action.

Good solid fun with over the top action -- think James Bond (smooth), Mission Impossible (stealth), and Arnold Schwarzenegger (muscle) and their gadgets, all rolled into one Bollywood blockbuster. Deepika Padukone does a credible job although she and SRK (thankfully) have an absence of chemistry. John Abraham makes a perfect baddie. Dimple Kapadia has a chance to show off her excellent acting chops. Hands down the best bits however are any time Salman Khan (Tiger) and SRK (Pathaan) have scenes together -- whether teaming up against the baddies, or sat joking about whether they should retire -- to have these two icons sharing the screen is worth the whole film. Kudos to the editors, who got this one just right, and to the 'Afghanistan village' actors for their dedication!

Loved some parts of the movie though there was much that had been in other movies The love story was particularly intoxicating and I wish it could have taken a really bold turn as both SRK and DP made lots of tiny throaty noises and eye games. Maybe when they make a sequel?? They left it open didn't they?? We might get to see some more action that doesn't include kissing or gratuitous behaviour.
