Phantom Reviews
I believe that there are individuals who have lost their crypto one way or the other. I strongly advise that you don’t seek help recovering it online because you are likely going to meet a scammer who will steal more of your funds in an attempt to help you recover your lost crypto. I personally have used ZATTPRO RECOVERY when I had to recover my bitcoin stolen by scammers. You can contact this legit recovery firm by email (zattechrecovery AT G mail com)
They couldn't at least TRY to do Russian accents? Staring Ed Harriinsky and David Duchovnisky.
This is an under-rated little gem that's not far off from Hunt for Red October. Solid performances from the cast and some real tension (and casualties)
There are many great films about submarines: Das Boot, Crimson Tide, The Hunt for Red October. This... is not one of them. Nice cast. An unorthodox ending (to say the least). But this low budget drama never rises to the heights of those great films. Merely watchable.
I expected little but found the film captivating. The low budget is perhaps evident, but we have forgotten the essential principal that a movie does not have to cost a fortune to be good. Ed Harris offers a convincing performance - we cannot be surprised, pf course. The movie is entertaining and had me stuck to the screen from beginning to end. Such movies are not made for everyone. I did enjoy it a lot.
Excellent! Good story and great acting by Harris and Duchovny, with basis in fact from an incident occurring during the Cold War
It was "okay". Half the time I had no idea what they were talking about. It had suspenseful moments but the boredom was predominant.
Only recently watched this movie and was surprised at how good it was. I enjoyed it from start to finish. One of the hidden gems that people really should watch. I'd go as far as to say better then the hunt for the red October (also a great movie).
Submarine films are supposed to be tense, scary, mysterious adventures. Phantom somehow comes off more as a political drama than a thriller or action film.
This movie was completely boring and stupid. Not watching it again
Just a terrible movie, that I very much enjoyed when watched on a movie channel. The opening and ending were a mess for me (I won't bias you with my opinions) but the story in the middle was great. Once the movie got going the solid plot, fast pace, and quality actors swept me up and kept me entertained. It is set in the Cold War and has the tension of the time period. I would recommend it if you are nostalgic about submarine movies and war action, but can refrain from being critical of every detail.
Soviet submarine captain, haunted by his past, who is forced to lead a covert mission that could spark a global nuclear war. The story left a lot of questions and the ending was not well thought through.
Soviet Submariners with not a shred of accent. It was supposed to be classified top secret by the U.S. And Russian government to this day but apparently it leaked or this whole thing is half fantasy. It could have been a great movie but it was just lame.
This movie can drop deep under sea , boring ...movies about a submarine have to be great script and suspence to only go even above sealevel !
A Cold War film that struggles to entertain. The script is very dull and boring and the cinematography is nothing special. I just couldn't get into this and the ending was as anticlimactic as could be and dumb. Pass on this one
The fact that the actors aren't Russian, they also don't even look Russian, don't speak Russian and they don't even care to put in an accent? The only thing that is Russian is the writing. Occasionally in the movie you will forget they are Soviets and assume they are American until the movie reminds you. To me this is totally un-immersive or believable with all these omissions, and wouldn't be anything without is irrefutable outcome.
