Random Hearts Reviews
Random Hearts is my go-to response when asked "What is the worst movie you've ever seen?“ No redeeming value whatsoever. Zero stars.
Nauseating, melodramatic soap opera. Avoid it. My eyes got tired from rolling so much.
A negative 3,006. Can't get those two hours of my life back. Was expecting a "thriller," but it was a lite Rom-Com with barely a storyline. Harrison doesn't pull off anger very well in any of his movies. Very stilted. It's almost a comedy. Hung on for the THRILLER aspect that NEVER surfaced. Not Harrison Ford's best work, and I am certain that he agrees.
Not sure why this movie got the low ratings but my spouse and really enjoyed it. Maybe it was the time it came out in the 90's. Either way great story line and casting...
A plane crash brings together two people who lost both spouses during the accident and find out that their previous deceased spouses had an affair with each other.
I knew after twenty minutes where this movie was going, but it wasn't worth the ride. Watching paint dry would be more interesting. Sad because there was a good cast.
Nice, calm - beautiful people. Well acted. Can't that just be enough once in awhile.
Has a fun idea that doesn't feel at all like it crescendos to it's real potential however I still had no qualms sticking it through to the end
The stunning New York vibes and late 90s aesthetic aren't enough to compensate for the lack of good storytelling and mediocre acting. The leads have no chemistry, and their irrational decisions are infuriating. The movie is also stretched out on nothing substantial to plot or character development.
The chemistry is just not there in this film, but the other odd and difficult watch is the music that is played throughout it's very difficult to listen and watch there is a large disparity in what's happening on the screen and the music being played.
Can't believe the critics! I enjoyed it way back but must agree that the sexual chemistry was lacking a bit, but the plot was different.
A very easy to watch film but in my critical view the kissing scene in the restricted zone feels very outdated.
One of those times where the sum of the parts is more than the whole. At 2:12, the movie is 1:30 too long. I counted at least 9 actors that tapped into youthful nostalgia in a "where were they then" kind of way. Glad to see this movie didn't taint anyone's careers. Story's premise has promise, but not well developed and secondary storylines felt like filler. Pollack mailed this in like a kid cramming for a history final.
Slow and thinly written.
One of the most pointless, boring movies I've ever watched. I just looked at my wife and said, "I'm sorry I picked the worst Harrison Ford movie in the history of ever." Do yourself a favor and skip this terrible movie.
First half hour was ok but the plot became more and more ridiculous as the movie progressed. Couldn't wait for the movie to finish.
This movie was so bad. It had an interesting premise that just didn't go anywhere. There was no tension, no drama, no suspense. Just complete garbage.
This movie is the cure for insomnia!!! If your having trouble getting good night sleep just put this on and you will soon be in a coma
It is rare that I like a movie so widely panned by the critics and audiences. I enjoyed this movie and I was surprised to read other's reactions, but I enjoy getting into the heads of the characters...if you don't, stay away from this movie.
