Barbara R Relative Control was a delightful , touching movie. The movie accurately depicted the sometimes very difficult balance of caring for elderly parents and one’s personal life and job. Patrick McDade's character brings needed comic relief to balance the film's somber content. (He is a hoot!) Ryan Saviano's character adds an extra layer to the story that furthers the idea of the "sandwich generation". His scenes with Teri Polo are very moving, and both actors give an excellent performance. Great cast all around! Portrays the struggles of a high-powered attorney who raised a son as a single parent with help from her parents now trying to manage the challenges of those aging parents by herself. She grows by learning that getting help from others is a strength rather than a weakness. As a 74 year old, it reminded me to be mindful of demands on my daughter as I age.
