KT Mahe For Your Reference Podcast A timely reflection on the reliance on technology and the insidious harm in replacing human relationships. A little egregious at times, an overall enjoyable watch. Rated: 3/5 Apr 1, 2025 Full Review Oti For Your Reference Podcast Built on an intriguing premise and supported by solid performances, Renner starts strong and stays engaging, even if it loses a bit of momentum before a well-earned final act. Rated: 3/5 Apr 1, 2025 Full Review Chris Joyce Movies and Munchies (YouTube) While the discomfort and anxiety that’s built by the story is effective and engaging, the writing hampers the suspense, first by showing us an obvious twist way too early and then by creating a conclusion that makes us question the writer’s competence. Rated: 2.5/5 Mar 31, 2025 Full Review Aaron Neuwirth We Live Entertainment Fitted with too many twists for its own good, what starts out as a promising little indie with some sci-fi twists ends up becoming a convoluted affair that can hardly get away with its attempts to ramp up the stakes. Rated: 4/10 Mar 20, 2025 Full Review Dennis Schwartz Dennis Schwartz Movie Reviews Has many plot twists and head scratching sequences. Rated: B- Mar 4, 2025 Full Review MontiLee Stormer MovieReelist.com Renner isn’t a long film at exactly 90 minutes, but the runtime gives the suspense plenty of room to explore the duplicitous nature of humans and computers. It’s a solid film with good acting and that final act takes a turn I know I didn’t see coming. Feb 27, 2025 Full Review Read all reviews

Kurt E Ending was unexpected and made film seem incomplete. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/12/25 Full Review Norm V. Unexpected suspense thriller! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/11/25 Full Review Shannon P Absolutely loved the movie, right up until the last three minutes! Up until the end, the premise was interesting and the acting was superb still gave it a rating of 4.5 stars because it was so good before the end! Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/08/25 Full Review SkyRo P "Renner" is a science fiction film set in 2025, featuring Frankie Muniz in the leading role. The plot revolves around his character, who finds himself ensnared in a monotonous existence, relying on his AI to guide him on how to navigate life and ensure his survival. The narrative takes a turn when a young woman enters his world, shaking up his routine and pushing him towards a breaking point. This buildup culminates in a chaotic third act filled with violence, murder, and outrageous antics. However, the journey to that climactic moment feels painfully drawn out. The film is bogged down by excessive dialogue, making it feel tedious and overly long. It’s as if the screenwriter couldn’t grasp the importance of pacing and instead just kept churning out lines. Sadly, I cannot recommend this film. Its heavy dialogue weighs it down, making it a struggle to get through. Based on the reviews I've seen on Rotten Tomatoes, it seems that this sentiment is widely shared. Unfortunately, this movie appears to be a significant disappointment. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 04/01/25 Full Review tm11999 M pretty good flick. malcolm plays an agoraphobic nerd who is a tech wizard that is on the verge of greatness, his mother the car tells him what do do 24/7/365 and runs his life. basement boy meets girl and this movie ends exactly the way it should. you'll be satisfied, so watch this film. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/29/25 Full Review RENNER P Renner was a cool surprise—Frankie Muniz really sold the role of a lonely tech genius trying to connect with the world. The AI twist was creepy in the best way, and it kept me guessing the whole time. It’s a smaller film, but it pulls you in with its tension and clever ideas. Definitely worth a watch if you like sci-fi with a psychological edge. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/28/25 Full Review Read all reviews
