ESSE FILME É UM POUCO PIOR QUE O PRIMEIRO, ESSE FILME NÃO SE ESFORÇA PRA CONTAR UMA HISTORIA BOA, ELE TRAZ UMA PERSONAGEM INSPIRADA NA FAMOSA JILL VALENTINE, MAS ELE CONSEGUE FAZER ESSA PERSONAGEM SE TORNAR INSIGNIFICANTE PRA HISTORIA DO FILME, SE É QUE TEM ALGUMA HISTORIA, ALEM DE VARIOS OUTRO ERROS COMO ROTEIRO FRACO, ATUAÇÕES MEDIOCRES ENTRE OUTRAS COISAS QUE SÃO PÉSSIMAS NESSE FILME.

Resident Evil: Apocalypse (2004) takes the franchise in a more action-heavy direction, but in doing so, it loses some of what made the first movie work. The story is straightforward and somewhat interesting, but it lacks any real depth, feeling more like an excuse to string together set pieces rather than a well-developed plot. The horror elements are almost an afterthought, making the zombies feel out of place in what plays more like an over-the-top action movie. The directing choices are questionable, with excessive shaky cam and overblown shots that make certain action scenes harder to follow. Slow motion is a nice touch, but it’s used so frequently that it feels more like a gimmick than a stylistic choice. That said, the cinematography does have its moments, particularly in a few key sequences. The introduction of Nemesis is handled well, even if his overall presence in the movie could have been stronger. Milla Jovovich remains the highlight, delivering her signature mix of badassery and effortless style while taking on enemies with superhuman agility. The script is basic, filled with cheesy dialogue that doesn't add much weight to the story. The soundtrack keeps the aggressive, industrial vibe from the first film, but the overall execution of the movie feels uneven. While it has entertaining moments, it doesn’t match the balance of action, horror, and sci-fi that made the original so engaging. It’s a fun watch if you just want mindless action, but as a follow-up to Resident Evil, it’s definitely a step down.

As much as it takes the name of Resident Evil, it seems like Paul W S Andersen still had not learned anything from his errors as the sequel is equally as bad as the 2002 film in which they somewhat made characters especially Jill Valentine and Nemesis from the third game very dull and Alice still does not add anything interesting to the plot and story. In addition to the choppy and chaotic editing like the previous entry, the writing is still a muddled mess.

You need to have your gaming head on to enjoy this. Some nice gore, but otherwise a routine horror. It is amazing to see a horror film where there is zero feeling of threat. An amazing feat considering the amount of ‘good guys’ that get totalled. Good fun if you like playing the game, but otherwise routine.

Filme legal , o roteiro é bacana, o elenco é legal, gostei das cenas de ação, achei legal terem colocado o Nemesis nesse filme, para os fãs depois desse filme só tem desgraça, o filme coloca a Alice como se fosse a melhor matadora de zumbis, e tem pequenas partes que o filme força, o avião caiu com ela morta, e depois ela ainda fica viva e foda-se, o filme tem mais coisas ruins e eu nem sei o escrever, para os fãs de resident evil, o filme é ruim eu acho, para mim mais um filme com ação e zumbi.

Pela quantidade de filmes e desenhos demonstra o sucesso da franquia que começou com jogo da Playstation em 1998. Temos neste 2º filme, uma continuação direta. Onde Alice (Jovovich) foi rendida pela Umbrella e acorda em um hospital, mas onde estão todos? Agora a contaminação chegou a cidade e tem hora contada pois a cidade desaparecerá com um ataque atômico. Mas para isso um dos cientista esta com sua filha na escola citiada e com zumbis por toda parte. Mas ele promete para aqueles que resgatarem sua filha ele tirará da cidade. Agora com a ação dentro da cidade em com um metahumano zumbi gigante quem anda com bazuka e mega metralhadora na verdade sendo Matt, que foi capturado no 1º filme. Aqui também temos Jill (Guillory), Carlos (Fehr) e LJ (Epps). Roteiro e enredo são francos, e não bons como o 1º. Sem algo que surpreendesse como no 1º filme. E na verdade este filme traz a diretriz dos outros filmes futuros. Vale apena assistir? Sim se vc deseja surfar na franquia, este não esta entre os melhores filmes da franquia. Nota: 5

🍀 2.7/10 You damn ripping off jurassic Park you silly you. OK everyone I have confession to make, I hate British kids 😔 unless they’re magical. This is pretty much just, pew, pew, pew, pew, pew but in more of a tiring way. Anyways, my score is 20+ yawns 🥱. Grade D+

It isn't as entertaining as the first film in the series, but it's decent.

Dude I thought this movie would never end. Goes to show what is possible in an action movie WITH NEVER ENDING ACTION! Brings the viewer on the edge of the seat the entire journey!! Unfortunately the RE movies got progressively worse, though RE2 was dope and the Netflix RE is GOAT tier too

Uma nota de zero a 10 minha nota é 7 esse é o meu filme preferido da franquia.

There's lot this film has to offer, I loved all the action and the characters were pretty good in my opinion, but the plot really confused me and there's not much to it which is a shame because I personally liked this movie more than the first one, if it was a little bit better with its story/plot then it would be even better but I still had a good time with this Resident Evil film. Grade: B-

Esta película es una digna secuela que ya comienza a ampliar más la saga y presenta a Alice como la nueva heroína de la historia. Muy buenas escenas de acción, buenos efectos especiales y el espectacular diseño de Nemesis, es una película buena en varios sentidos y más al presentar el inicio del apocalipsis. Ya a partir de aquí comienza a desatarse el apocalipsis zombi y van apareciendo los personajes de los juegos. No hay mucho más que decir, excepto que Resident Evil: Apocalypse es tanto una buena película como una de las pocas secuelas que están a la altura de sus predecesoras. Mi nota para este film es un 10/10.

Resident Evil: Apocalypse is the best, sexiest, cool movie and foreshadowing of a genetic apocalypse imaginable. It tops the action, science fiction and horror genres with a believable corporatist evil Umbrella corporation that will stop at nothing until the entire world is destroyed, taking and killing scientists who only tried to save their beloved children, as it always starts, and whose unethical human experimentation is as bad as ever before and what they would clearly have done at Detrick and be doing now if they had the chance which is likely very near term. Maybe with the WIV, globally funded gain of function and today's ePPP (enhanced pandemic potential pathogens) funding, as there are no actual restrictions as of Asilomar Conference and 10 year moratorium, will the Luddites and antediluvians leaving poor reviews understand what this narrative scenario is trying to tell us. Unbelievable this movie was released 1 year after the SARS coronavirus outbreak in 2003 that most people simply ignored at their and our own peril. Perhaps today, at the end, will they understand. These actors are amazing, Odid Fehr who also played a hero in the mummy and to see 5th Element Milla Jovovich as Alice is beyond words. What is wrong with the critics and people giving poor reviews, are they infected with the T-virus because they'd have to be dead not to be amazed at this movie and all it brings to the table -- both great beauty and great evil, ever heard of Harriman Cold Springs Harbor, and guess what they're doing today(hint, like this movie) -- Hollywood telling people what can't be told and what we must be eternally vigilant against.
