Robot Dreams Reviews
Loved everything about it, the bittersweet ending is a plus! Waited a couple months for this to come out to the US, and it was so worth it!
Very cute, wholesome, and emotional. It was cool to see expressive characters could be in a film without dialogue
Amazing, beautifully crafted, great visuals, touches on so many emotions, no words in the movie and still powerful.
best 2d animated film in the past decade since princess and the frog. the ending was very abrupt though (
I enjoyed the colors and the detail of animation. There was so much to see and experience. The sound and music were great too! They had the robot, and the dreams, just like it says in the title.
Smart, sweet and made me ugly cry
Beautiful film. Sweet story and the great small details.
Amazing, I've been trying to watch this movie for forever it was hard finding it, but it did not disappoint I felt every kind of emotion smack me in the face. I only wish I could buy it in the US.
this was pretty good. definitely recommend if you like animation
Despite the abrupt ending, the movie overall was enjoyable to pull me through. It's a silent, dialogue-free movie that dreams can surreal or uncanny. Beautiful animation, good tearjerking scenes, awesome music, and great use of Earth, Wind & Fire song September! Well deserved winner from the Annie Awards this year!
The sweetest, most enchanting movie I've seen in a while.
I'd been waiting to see this ever since it got announced as an Oscar nominee and it did not disappoint for the most part. It had very solid animation and for it being a movie with no spoken dialogue by the characters everything was conveyed quite well. There were a couple of parts that felt extra or dragged a bit but overall a very well done heartfelt movie.
Beautifully drawn, scored and edited. Even though theres hardly any dialogue its a good film, good story. Its like a silent era film as you have to rely on the visuals to understand the story which is what cinema originally was. Good for the whole family. Side note: I saw this right after the re release of Run Lola Run and I have to say they are great companion pieces. The ending says it all
Delightful film with a nostalgic backdrop of New York City in the 1980s
a show of humanity by a cast of animals! Superb!
It was incredible poignant sad and hilarious.
