This is the most nonsensical, weird, bizarre, horribly-acted movie that I've seen; I kept cringing the whole time. Some people try to defend it, but I just think it's for people with very poor taste. Would never recommend my worst enemy to watch this. Painfully boring. The only good thing about the film is Monica Belluci's beauty. How can I give it a quarter of a star?

Wow.. talk about falling into the greatly worn-out Tarantino tropes of mindless gratuitous violence and failing miserably at that. Clive is the only saving grace in this rather monotonous kill fest. He doesn't even have to try hard with his dead pan delivery, which still manages to elevate himself above the rest. The villain is a bad caricature of everything villainous you can possibly imagine.. making his repeated calls to his wife out of place and stupid, in its sad attempt at injecting silly humour which even Schwarzenegger would cringe at. Don't get me started with Bellucci's flat and unconvincing performance.. I know she's capable of much better, but she just didn't fit into the ridiculous role of prostitute turned mother with a half ass attempt of a backstory ~ likely not a fault of her own but the scriptwriter. And the love scene was bad just bad... quickly devolving into another kill fest and another very sad attempt at being funny. The only positives of Monica's performance were her brief lapses into pretty passionate Italian dialog tirades, which were probably the only authentic or natural moments on film. Lastly, the accomplished combined talent of other actors on set like McHattie, Bryk, and Richings were all basically squandered. In a nutshell, a totally forgettable film if it weren't for the over-the-top violence.

E a cena mais esdruxela que ele Smith esta tendo relação com Donna e entra os assassinos e enquanto fazem amor vai Mandando Bala, Kkkkkk Cena Impar do filme. E mais uma cena peculiar é ver Smith toda hora comendo cenoura e Mandando Bala. Creio que antes de Denzel fazer "O Protetor" ou "John Wick" este filme possa ter inspirado. Boas atuações dos atores com ressalva para Giamatti e a parte cômica que ele fala com a esposa por celular durante o filme. Apesar de toda a violência que o filme traz tem a pitade de humor em todo ele. Mistura bem feita e o tempo do filme 1h 26m não é longa mas muito dinâmica. Roteiro e enredo simples. E as cenas de tiros bem executados. Vale apena assistir? Sim, mas para maiores de 18 anos. Nota: 8,5

A John Woo movie on acid and operating on video game logic, Shoot 'Em Up is one of the most audacious, hyperactive, implausible, cheerfully offensive, merrily amoral, shamelessly watchable and outlandishly funny action movies I've ever had the pleasure of watching. Consisting of endless shoot-outs and chases overtaking each other like waves rolling onto a beach, each more over-the-top than the last all the while Clive Owen chows down on carrots. Director Michael Davis delivers 86 minutes of non-stop brilliance, with a willingness to push the envelope beyond the limits of good taste that makes Hard Boiled look restrained by comparison. Far from being a spoof on the genre, Shoot 'Em Up is an action movie with the flab removed, from Clive Owen's low-rent James Bond-esque persona, deadpan one-liners and even a shoot-out set to Ace of Spades, this movie has it all.

9\10 - I loved it ! Clive Owen is brutal, funny and cool. That movie is made to be stupid, trashy, funny and bloody. A real hidden gem for the lovers of comedy action movies.

It looked pretty good. Nothing too exciting or noticeable. It was quite violent with blood and carrots flying around everywhere. I didn't like the mix at all. Dialogue was badly prioritised and I was either struggling to hear what they were saying or being deafened by gunfire. It was too dynamic even for a shooting movie. Such a stupid story. It was truly unbelievable. It was too much! It wasn't like Crank (2006) which was good because it's story was so bad, it was more serious in the way it was shot but it was stupid in the story. I suppose that it was a bad cross between Léon (1994) and Crank (2006). It was really stupid and all the gun-play got boring very quickly. Not worth spending time with.

Clive Owen, how could you participate in such a terrible movie. I thought you were a serious actor. Very disapointing.

This is about as non-stop adrenaline-pumping action fun as it gets, with awesome laughs to boot. I'm not a fan of long runtimes, but I wanted more, much more than the time-flying 86 min runtime. The pacing was fast, so time flew by real quick. All casting and performances were outstanding. Clive Owen needs to do more action films like this. I'm surprised they haven't made this gem a franchised series, because there were some trendsetting action scenes in this 2007 film I've never seen before, even up to now in 2022. Think John Wick, but all shoot-em-up gun slinging action. The cinematography, sets and score were all top shelf. This film is certainly worthy of the acclaim it has garnered and must be seen by every action-film fan.

Wow the truth is that I was left in stone with this movie, I did not know how to digest it. It is saved by the constant and frenetic firing.

So much fun. Clive and Paul are excellent. There's a gunfight sex scene, it's hilarious not sexy.

Just toe curlingly cheesy and borderline unwatchable.

While over the top, the action pieces make this movie an easy one to watch over and over.
