Something's Gotta Give Reviews
A real mismatch. Over the hill stars and up and coming ones. Jack playing crazy womanizing Jack (when doesn't he) and Dianne a shell of her former self. Keanu as a doctor? Now that would be acting if he could pull it off. What? Were they all at a party in the Hamptons and said, "lets put on a movie"? Miss.
Nicholson & Keaton don't really match but their great performances pull it off.
This flick is a fine vehicle for the older actors Nicholson & Keaton & a very entertaining ride, even if it's a wee-bit too long. No one sees to know how to tie up a tale in under two hours anymore. Keaton deserves the awards she won for this role. I am not Reeves fan as he tends to be a block of wood. Jack may be better as a comic actor than a dramatic one. Orin Domenico
very lovely movie ❤️ a must seen you will enjoy it love keanu reeves
This movie was so bad, the only reason I kept watching was because I kept hoping it would get better. I honestly don’t understand the good reviews other than maybe its nostalgic value for people.
Kenton acts like a 12 year old girl. Bad sitcom. Nicklson is the only saving grace here.
Diferentes histórias de amor entrelaçadas pelo acaso. Perfeito para os amantes do gênero. Engraçada, leve, romântica e interessante.
So why she chose nicholson, not Reeve
I really enjoyed this one. It was really funny and had a lot of heart. I would love to see a return to the PG-13 rom-com that seems like they had a blast making. There are a few scenes that should be cut out because this is more of a mature PG-13, but I enjoyed it overall.
I had a lot of fun watching this movie. Nicholson and Keaton have a great dynamic, and Reeves is absolutely charming. I would recommend this to any rom-com fan, it is simply a delightful experience. Something's Gotta Give, you are a film to love.
Good hangover Sunday night movie.
Good story and acting. Nicholson is great!
Very predictable, as expected. A typical rom-com but with veterans
"Something's Gotta Give" is a charming romantic comedy that brings together Diane Keaton and Jack Nicholson in a delightful clash of generations. Nicholson, a successful playwright, finds himself in a love triangle with a younger woman and Keaton, the mother of his girlfriend. The movie is a rollercoaster of emotions, with witty banter and heartwarming moments set against the picturesque Hamptons backdrop. Keaton's vibrant portrayal and Nicholson's trademark charm make them a standout duo. While the film occasionally falls into predictable territory, it still entertains with its clever dialogue and themes of love, friendship, and self-discovery. "Something's Gotta Give" reminds us that age doesn't define matters of the heart, making it a delightful watch for rom-com enthusiasts.
I normally hate Hollywood rom-coms and this one is dripping the usual cheese but the only reason I watched this is I love Jack. He dominates the screen as he always does with his natural sly charm and he turns out to be a loveable rogue in the end.
LOL, the funniest 02 hours: and 05 minutes ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Nancy Meyers has a natural knack for crafting heartwarming, touching, and humorous comedy/romance themes. The performances by Jack Nicholson and Diane Keaton are genuinely outstanding, managing to overshadow some flaws in the script and creating a cozy and heartwarming countryside love story.
It would have been better at an hour and a half.
A charming romantic comedy.
