Starsky & Hutch Reviews
A genuine, timeless classic
My life is complete after seeing this.
Oh Todd Phillips... Check out my longer review: https://youtu.be/k2P2lmTCJnY?si=cZ5S2Jyi7HCM24oj
Good fun. Get the popcorn or munchies and just enjoy it. Snoop dog is fun here as always. The soundtrack is great and after you watch it you will want a red Ford Torino too. PS the actors are hilarious.
One of the worst movies of all time featuring two of the worst "actors" of all time. Neither can act. Just mug for the camera. Why does hollywood keep wasting our time with these "never was".
It's funny. It's hard to gauge the criticism of this movie as I haven't seen the original 온라인카지노추천 show. But I think the movie stands on its own just fine and is very funny.
it was ok but not super funny i was pretty dissapointed
Although I'm unfamiliar with the 70s 온라인카지노추천 series, this movie reboot of Starsky and Hutch was funny and entertaining, albeit silly and predictable. Wilson and Stiller's chemistry makes for a great buddy cop comedy. I liked that they brought back the OG actors for a cameo, too.
Kind of drags at parts but still very entertaining and enjoyable. The cameos were a fun surprise. Definitely rewatchable
It's fun but not as much as otherStiller Wilson comedies. Vince Vaughn is preetty good and he steals every scene he's in. Snoop Dogg is fun and there are some nice jokes in it
Neither overly funny or having great action scenes, this movie comes across as an ordinary attempt to cash in on an iconic tv show. Disappointing.
Heh, quite alright. A little tidbit for you: footage from 1954 Tom and Jerry short "Neopolitan Mouse" was used in this movie, the short was the first to use the Tom and Jerry 1954 card and 1954 MGM cartoon logo. Warner Bros owned Tom and Jerry at the time.
93/100 - how this movie has such bad ratings ill never know. this is a fantastic, hilarious, awesome, fun, exciting, unpredictable, film and all the actors did brilliant work. its sad to see people not get this movie. its a buddy duo cop movie. its been done 100 times before and this is one of the good ones. so imagine not watching this XD
Fun recreation of a classic. Funny moments. Stupid moments. Mostly slapstick with a decent story.
I'm an hour into it and turning it off. If I was in the theater I would leave. Just bad. Real bad.
For those of us who saw in the original series as a spoof, the movie is true to form. For those who thought that's how the police works, the film is an offence. That's not how the police works and the original series was a ridiculously hilarious spoof. So is the film, but with much better talents and only 90 minutes to waste. Of course this isn't Ben Stiller's best role. Stiller has played in much better movies, some that he directed but it still is quite funny. Wilson on the other hand plays in all the stupid movies, so this one is top drawer for him. I say it's a winner.
Ah yes, Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson just really show their entertainment in this movie. Pretty funny movie, pretty good cast too. 4/5
Previously mentioned in last weeks post, the reboot of the much loved 1970's cop show is, unusually, brilliant. In a time where we seem to get a rehashing of an old favourite every few weeks, rarely do they do the original justice. Todd Phillips' (Joker [2019]) approach however, works an absolute treat. Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson are used to working together but their chemistry is at its finest here, hilariously supported by Juliette Lewis, Vince Vaughn, and even Snoop Dog. The film strikes just the right balance between homage and spoof, and you'll even forgive them perhaps an homage too far in the final sequence.
