A near miss. First half was much better than the second half. Some good performances and the usual visual flourishes from Argento. Probably Argento's last decent movie after his best years in the 70's and 80's.

After the misstep of trauma, Argento went back to Italy to create this first-rate, psycho-thriller about young police officer tracking a serial killer In Rome, when her life is turned upside down by the Stendal syndrome. Ugly violence does not compromise the knock out performance by Asia Argento. Here, Dario Argento is back on form with some really fantastic imagery and Suspense that is slightly hindered by a limping 3rd half. Probably there were last really great Argent film 🎥
