A tense survival with worthy pacing.

This film keeps you guessing, although the plot becomes more understandable as it continues. Good acting, great writing & interesting cinamatography.

Favorite movie of the year. It takes a story that may be less appealing if told in a different way, and sucks you in until the end.

Obviously an absolute darling of the critics, I found it very much lacking. Not half as clever it thinks it is, the protagonist screeches and postures and pouts throughput, but we never really get any real understanding of her motivations. People keep making stupid choices and doing stupid things and she keeps getting away with murder. Literally. The hideous whiny 70s soundtrack is the icing on the cake.

Nothing happened, they put all the interesting stuff in the trailer and then all of the twists were either obvious or weren't exciting.

Hard pass. It's wannabe Quinten and M. Night. Acting is decent, but story is clearly reaching to try to be a "twist." Seemed pretty predictable from early on. The previews are more entertaining than than the movie itself. Save yourself the 96 minutes..

Just abt the point where I was ready to give uo/write it off as a flop, there was a pretty big reveal that turned the whole movie around. I'm glad i stick it out.

Now this is a movie! One of the best killer thrillers in years, hands down. See it at all costs!

Surpreende, muito bom.

A one night stand turns into a shocking ordeal. One of the best psychological horror films I've ever seen. Structured non-linearly, the viewer must engage the film and piece the story together. Willa Fitzgerald gives a bravura performance. I'm not sure I've ever seen her performances (I checked. I haven't.) but I look forward to doing so in the future. She is perfectly balanced by Kyle Gallner (Smile-2022), intense and vengeful. Rounding out the success of the work is the cinematography by Giovanni Ribisis (yes, the actor), that features a vibrancy of color not often viewed in films. Definitely throws you a curve halfway through. A good story with the 2 leads acting extremely well.

For a thriller/suspense, there was zero tension. No one ever felt under threat. No one felt menacing. I think the film was going for an auteur-esque 'attitude', A style. But even this felt like "style(TM)". The art department looked like it had fun though.
