Wonderful story!! The hard life of the immigrant farmer, hate, discrimination, smallmindness. And love shines through. Today we cannot Imagine life on a farm in the early 1900's. Incredible cinematography, writing, and acting. Don't miss this one.

Nice. Prejudice. Conflict. Love. Changes of heart. Captivating. Great acting and production values. I liked the way they organized the storytelling.

Loved the movie; frustrated when the foreign languages weren't translated in the subtitles. The story is sweet, and the cinematography was beautiful.

The actors do what they can, but the pace is so glacial, so utterly comatose that the film will actually put you to sleep.

Over sweet and sanitized effort of what could have been an amazingly moving story. Yes, there are some wonderful actors who are horribly miscast: Alan Cumming ( a great actor) doesn't make a credible farmer. John Heard. Well... The leads are lovely to look at, but why must Elizabeth Reaser be in perfect curls, lipstick, and overly smooth make up? Especially after a trans Atlantic voyage and a cross country rail trip? Ridiculous and ridiculously romantic. The director is a commercial director, and it shows. This might as well have been made for Lifetime or that Hallmark Channel.

Wonderful movie. I was pleasantly surprised. I loved how the photo at the heart of the movie came to be. I loved watching how the two main characters grew in their respect (and eventually, love) for each other. I plan to watch it again when I need to feel that vibe. The movie had a number of interesting elements supporting the main storyline.

Interesting storyline and the way in which it is told. Many of the main actors are spot on with their performances. Especially watch for a few little looks or a smirk from the actors that really say a lot about the characters without a lot of words. One of my all time favorites.

What a really sweet and lovely movie. The two main leads have such a lovely chemistry. I would love to see Reaser and Guinee do another romantic movie or maybe a 온라인카지노추천 show together. My only minor complaint is that they show partial nudity then after teasing us with longing furtive gazes between the two we don't get at least one passionate kiss and embrace between them. Great movie nonetheless.

I cannot say enough about this movie. Every performance is fantastic. The writing is wonderful . It is such a sweet story of relationships and the goodness in people without deceit violence death.

The soundtrack was great. The last 15 minutes was good, but the rest of the movie was slow and uneffecting.

I Thought it was a good movie yet it was lacking in some parts. I really shows how small town America can be hostile to immigrants. Especially during the period the movie takes place.

Can anybody make a sweeter movie than this? Super-clean & family-oriented, a refreshing change from the usual.. back to simpler days.
