Tarzan Reviews
The score is so retro 80s it really is amazing when this was made. The actual cartoon is pretty mediocre and showcases a fit Jane and a Tarzan who definitely never skips leg day. Nothing memorable about this Disney outing watched on DVD.
Interesting and light - but not quite perfect, but I still recommend watching it.
The ending felt slightly abrupt, but always a classic in my opinion
Such a good childhood movie. It’s interesting that a human being raised by a gorilla.
Wholesome story. Great voice acting. And of course the iconic Phil Collins who wrote and performed on the soundtrack. One of the last best Disney movies from the 90’s era.
Disney’s Tarzan delivers solid animation, a fun family twist on the original story, and infuses all its characters with playful energy. The remarkable Phil Collins soundtrack adds to the film’s charm. It’s undoubtedly one of my all-time favorite Disney films, and I’ll always cherish the memories of watching it in theaters. Grading: A+
Tarzan is a very well made animated feature though Rosie O’Donnell nearly ruins the whole movie for me
LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is one of the movies I grew up watching and I still love it. 1 It reminds me of my mother I use to loving making noise like Tarzan and wear my mother's clothing acting like jane. 2 I was bullied growing up I don't remember so much about my childhood but Tarzan I still do and it gives me a good memories.
I liked tarzan as a kid I even forgor this movie existed
Even if i did not see the movie, i did notice how Clayton (the villain) dies: which is getting hung by some greenish plant. Like HOW IS THIS G RATED?! DISNEY ALSO SHOWED HIS CORPSE WITH THE LIGHTNING! How is this movie for kids??? (Also the animation is perfection)
Phil Collins performs a beautiful soundtrack here. Gorgeous animation and moving story.
Disney's Tarzan is a gorgeous looking movie, and if it strays quite a bit from the source material it wins back points for giving us some of the best jungle movie.
The story, the movements and personality of the characters is fantastic
From the Phil Collins soundtrack to the great animated action sequences, 'Tarzan' is a standout Disney movie that may not be everyone's cup of tea, but it is something new and exciting for Disney that works in many new ways.
One of my most favorite animated films.
An animated classic. The animation is stunning with the CGI and hand drawn hybrid creating extremely memorable sequences. The jungle is very memorable and the camerawork is really creative. Everything else is really good about it. The main problems that hold this back are very nuanced more than anything. It follows a very predictable narrative you've seen before. The music is really good but the Phil Collins numbers while great don't really feel like they fit the asetics like how some of the other tracks do. Tarzan himself isn't that interesting a character but there all likeable. Jane is arguably the most likeable character of all. The villian is good but a bit on the generic side. You could argue the first 25 minutes or so where we show Tarzan growing up and coming of age while really good isn't important to the overall plot and could've probably been told in a 1 minute flashback sequence. But besides that it's really well done for such a simple story. Anyone who is a fan of animated flicks, the directors, any actors in this, or the source material will like this a lot.
Outra obra prima da Disney
Such an underrated film! Tarzan is a very cool protagonist, the animation is clean, the songs are just a joy to listen to. And overall it is a really good film! Definitely liked it!
