To rate this movie, I have to look at the good and the bad things that were done in this Movie:
Lets start with the Good things:
- Make up: Whoever made the Makeup for this Movie put all his heart and creativity in. It looked phenomenal and Real and you could see her body getting worse over the days and that was really nessesary for this movie.
- idea: Well the script itself wasnt really well written, the Idea of the Movie itself was a big plus for me because of the complex phenomenon happening here and it was also very unique.
Bad things:
Script: Well the script as mentioned before lacks a lot of information and gives some confusing moments to the watcher, maybe there was deeper meaning I didnt get but could have been improved. And way to many unnessasary Sex-scenes
Camera work: While some shots were good some were just as bad so neutral for me here but more in the bad end
Acting: The side actors played their roles like I watched the Room, The main actress herself is the best of all but still has some improvement.
Music and Sound: Oh boy here we go: This gets 0/5 Stars for me. The Music was way to loud and the Talking way to silent so most of the time I couldnt even understand what was said. In those creepy colored sequences the music also was waay to loud.
Overall: More Bad then good but the whole team was able to express their creative talent and probably had a lot of fun. Worth a watch for body horror fans. Not worth a watch for people that vomit easily or cant see gross stuff but thats obvious.

This movie is for people who value shock value over story essence. I’d very much applaud to it if this was produced by college students due to satisfying graphical awesomeness and indie-like appeal, but essentially, this movie lacks storyline, any attempt to improve or get well. It’s just continuous sex and disfigurement in a nutshell, nothing more.

WAS SOLL DENN DER QUATSCH?
Laura zieht in ein neues Apartment und nach einer herrlichen Runde Sex mit ihrem Freund erwacht sie am nächsten Tag mit blauen Flecken am Körper. Zu dem fallen ihr die Fingernägel aus und sie blutet unkontrolliert, immer mehr verändert sich ihr Körper und Laura krümmt sich vor Schmerzen. Was geschieht nur mit ihr?
Thanatomorphose (was ein Titel) von 2012 ist ab 18 Jahren freigegeben und geht ca. 100 Minuten. Wir haben hier einen Body-Horror Streifen der uns die Verwandlung einer recht attraktiven Frau in ein fast schon verwesendes Wesen zeigt.
Wieso allerdings weiss ich nicht, es passiert halt einfach und soll wohl hauptsächlich ekeln ohne tieferen Sinn.
Die Story zeigt uns Laura wie sie ihren Alltag durchlebt, Speck braten, zu Bewegungsgesprächen gehen und natürlich Sex. Jedoch verändert sich dann ihr Körper und wer jetzt an ein verfluchtes Apartment oder an Gift vom Freund denkt, tja, weit daneben. Wobei jede Idee besser gewesen wäre, als das was man hier bekommt. Zumal vieles unscharf gefilmt ist, was eher an eine Studenten arbeitet erinnert als an einen Streifen denn man ernst nehmen sollte.
Hauptsächlich gibt es nackte Haut, Blut und wer schon immer scheiße am Bein einer Frau runterlaufen sehen wollte, braucht nicht in die Pflege wechseln, sondern sieht es hier.
Das Finale zeigt uns auch nur mehr von dem was man die ganze Zeit sieht, nämlich Fleisch was verrottet ohne Sinn und Verstand. Vielleicht haben ja die Gläubigen darauf ne Antwort wegen Unzucht, ich weiss es doch auch nicht.
Am Ende bleibt ein Werk das eklig sein will und das auch schafft, ist aber auch das einzige. Denn die Figuren sind langweilig, es ist schrecklich gefilmt und die Story, ach welche Story. Auf jeder Kaugummipackung steht mehr Inhalt als man hier finden kann.
Von mir bekommt der Film 2/10 Punkten. Wer mehr hier drin sehen will, von mir aus, aber auf den Punkt gebracht ist das hier einfach langweilig und unterirdisch.

L'image et le travail de maquillage / SFX sont très cools. C'est le seul point positif du film, globalement. Pas de plot, jeu d'acteur très moyen, le film reste en surface et la fin, n'en parlons même pas. Je me suis tellement ennuyée que j'ai dû mettre en vitesse x1.5.
Pourtant, on m'avait vendu le film comme un chef-d'œuvre de l'horreur, il ne l'est PAS DU TOUT.
Non seulement je ne reverrais pas Thanatomorphose, mais en plus je ne le recommanderai à personne, économisez vos 1h40.

F-ed up. Badly. This is conceptual art in the form of disgust, grossness and purely f-ed cinema. Just when you think you've seen it all, this movie takes it to another level. Great, but I wouldn't recommend.
