Audience Member Quite boring. Girl's grandfather dies and her uncle and his snooty son arrive to take over the farm. That's about it. Rated 0.5/5 Stars •  Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/17/23 Full Review Audience Member This is a typical "somebody's trying to buy up the family farm" story, but better. The setting--Wales--was really interesting to me; the modern cars sharing roads with sheep seemed so old-fashioned. What I really liked about this movie, though, was the excellent way the characters and relationships were portrayed. You could feel for every single person--even the villians. I also thought the character changes were very well done. Gwilyn, especially, seemed so nice at the beginning of the movie, but it was really interesting how his true colors came out in the crisis. I think what I liked best about this movie, though, was Gwen and Cliff's relationship progressed. It was a sweet friendship, and yet it wasn't romantic. (What a relief!) Anyway, strong characters and nice relationship portrayals. Great movie.
