Where the Collector was Home Alone meets Saw, the Collection is Resident Evil meets Saw. Still some good kills but same old bad CGI.

This movie has been my favorite since I was smaller, I think this puts me in a position where most "horror" movies aren't even scary anymore, if I'm being true. they often disappoint me. This movie is so well made and they weren't afraid to show us everything they've got! they gave us death party, artificial zombies, demon dogs, traitors, fire, and even more. although, I would say that this movie is NOT for the weak minded, but I would love a remake of this movie or more types like this.

Pretty good. The brash, young American character, Billy, is obnoxious.

While not being as fresh as the first, it still offers a lot with a good lead character, awesome traps, brutal gore effects and pretty satisfying ending.

The Collection offers some action along alongside the horror, and with that comes gallons more blood, but a lacking story and characters can't save this sequel.

A woman is captured in an underground rave party and then held hostage in an abandoned hotel rigged with deadly traps. A group of mercenaries is sent on a mission to rescue the young woman but first they will need to survive a maze ruled by a sadistic killer. "The Collection" replicates the same formula of the Saw franchise. A horror movie that will certainly be more appreciated by the hardcore fans who privilege gore to storytelling. Extremely graphic!

The collection takes the James camerons terminator,alien approach where the first film was more secluded to a house, the collection went bigger, and badder, the movie all the way to the end was a entertaining ride, and i love that the film looked like the ending was heading in a cliche direction and subverted it.

What's the point of this movie?! Warning: Spoilers Why is this movie bad? From beginning to end, everything is just lacking in effort. Everything is overacted, everything is ridiculous, none of the character's actions make any sense, the one bit of cgi looks like something from "sliders" (the 90's 온라인카지노추천 show). It's just consistently awful, always, in every seen. Constant cringe worthy lines. I was tricked by a review. From now on when I receive advice on what constitutes a good movie, I'm going to click on the author's name and see what other movies they consider "good." There is no substitute for good taste. This movie was terrible and cringe worthy, from start to finish.

A sequel that is more over the top than the original and the last 5 minutes saves this movie from being non memorable.

It's way better than the first movie by an country mile but it's not for everyone

Like how the Collector is an underrated horror gem, so is it's sequel! From start to finish it's a blast! The third act is no lie, my favorite ending to a slasher movie ever! Everything from the characters, the action, the emotion, the score…perfection! There might be 1 or 2 things that don't quite add up, but the good way more then makes up for it! Definitely check this one out!

I am a person who rarely loses words. For this movie I have failed to find words to describe how sadly awful this movie is. Apart form its miraculous predictability; this movie makes no sense. The characters are stupid, the killer is stupid, and there is no story like whatsoever. After starting as a possible good movie, all the potential is lost because of the illogical sequence of events that follow. The team who is supposed to go face the manic killer is composed of 5 people; a sad number against a mass murder who is obviously capable of slaughtering them all. Especially that they went to fight him at his shrine, which would obviously be filled with all kinds of traps. To further exacerbate the situation, the movie comes to an abrupt end without making much sense as to where the actors got their sudden strength and existence of a brain from. Perhaps the only two reasons that made me give this movie a rating of one are first, IMDb doesn't allow for a rating of 0 and second, because of the interesting way that the writers chose to show us that the story hasn't ended yet. Although, to say the least, the lack of any interesting material in this one would probably discourage one from watching the next movie. Save yourself a good hour ans 22 minutes and do something else with your life. I can't believe the writers of saw, who are known for their writing genius, went so low as to write such a sad excuse for a horror film. Bottom line: Do Not Watch This. Fail

this is a really good movie, its suspense horror. its the cat and mouse game, hiding from a sadistic killer in his house. a maze full of traps, and crazy booby traps.

Gory and over the top, for better or worse. Fans of the first movie will enjoy it.

The movie has nice and satisfying kills combined witha lot of beautiful women. Meanwhile the acting is competent and the pace is quick. Only the CGI is quite bad and rather belongs in a movie from 2002 than 2012. When traps are activated, the mechanisms shown at work really look like from a PlayStation 1 cutscene. Nevertheless, the movie is a lot and the main villain is even more interesting and cool than in the first movie. Recommended!
