Wallen doesn’t want to impress anybody with the film. He could be accused of restraining himself in a genre where the lack of rules often makes every thing better. Fortunately, being self-aware of his capacity makes the film better.

I'm honestly wondering how this movie got as good a score as it did. This was one of the worst movies I've ever seen. I was really hopeful because of the great ratings, but was severely disappointed. It was dull, boring, and uneventful. It was SUPER cheesy. It was all over the place too and left a lot of scenes totally random and unanswered. Like there's one scene where the guy is lifted off the floor by the demon and dropped. Then it cuts out. Then he's totally fine in the next scene you see him in and nothing is explained at all lol. It's like it never happened. Just a really dumb and boring movie. Very disappointing! I wish i had read the other reviews before watching this disaster of a film

IT'S A TRAP!! It's MST3000 fodder. This movie is awful. How it is rated 100/90 on RT is beyond me. I was sucked in by not looking more deeply into the ratings. Someone is padding these reviews! It really is awful, low budget, confused plot, lame "occult".... I could go on and on. DON'T RENT IT, DON'T BUY IT, DON'T BELIEVE THE REVIEWS.
