Big-hearted, dim-witted factory worker Fred Flintstone (John Goodman) lends money to his friend Barney Rubble (Rick Moranis) so that he can adopt a baby. As thanks, Barney swaps his IQ test for Fred's during an executive search program. After getting promoted, however, Fred becomes embroiled in the dastardly scheming of his boss Cliff Vandercave (Kyle MacLachlan), who enlists his secretary, Sharon Stone (Halle Berry), to seduce Fred, angering Fred's wife, Wilma (Elizabeth Perkins).

Rosie O'Donnell was definitely miscast, not because of her looks though. Rosie's not perfect looking, but neither is John Goodman. You don't need every woman in the movie to be a 10 while the men are just average looking. That's how you end up with men whose standards are too high. They grow up watching average and overweight men, getting gorgeous women and that's what they expect. I think Rosie was miscast because she did a bad acting job. She's not a strong actor, but she's really good at playing certain parts....not this one though.

Set design and costume design is clearly the best aspect of the movie but the characters feel so miserable and depressing most of the time which makes it hard to watch. Acting performance was perfect though and the comedy was perfect.

Filme bacana, o roteiro é bacaninha, teve cenas boas, mas teve coisas que o roteiro foi meio mal tipo fazer uma briga entre a família do fred flintstones e a família do barney rubble, de resto é bacana o filme, e Eu recomendo esse filme.
