Gareth B Amazing, clever, brilliant Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/01/23 Full Review prawnda s it's got some good concepts, but it starts to seriously drag about 2/3 of the way through. i think we could easily have cut 45 minutes or more of this and still had an effective story. the ending is just awful, repetitive, redundant filler that should have been a 5 minute sequence for maximum effect. the score is very pedestrian and overly emotional as well, which i would overlook due to the budget if it didn't go on for so long. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 04/25/23 Full Review Audience Member This movie is hard to figure out. Heavy religious tones. The tempo is all over the place. Some scenes are exciting and some made me nod off with wind noises and distant thunder sound effects. A real head-scratcher. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/23/23 Full Review Audience Member If you watched and liked Ink, same director. Just as good, too. This guy, I swear invented the idea of Black Mirror with this movie. The dad from Ink plays the female leads psychiatrist, (also some awesome Netflix movie Infinity Chamber) no spoilers, just watch it. If you like Donnie Darko, The Crow, Sunshine, Wristcutters or Ink: 8.25/10 very recommended Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/18/23 Full Review Audience Member Mesmerizing. Images, story, characters, all gripped my interest. Will watch again. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/02/23 Full Review Audience Member Truly terrible. Awful. There is not one aspect of this film that could possibly be interpreted or perceived as impressive or entertaining. Plot is mindless. The first half of the film is so incredibly boring and the second half of the film is impossibly stupid. Simply makes no sense whatsoever. You're forced to endure 30 minutes of screen bending and inverted shots of various cityscapes just waiting for it to end. So disjointed and haphazard. Movie goes into a complete meltdown towards the end when the worlds we're supposed to be watching collapse and then it's just scene after scene, random sequence after random sequence of this guy hitting into walls and trying to break free from the screen. Utterly ridiculous. Tells no story; provides no useful takeaways; nothing insightful or interesting. Just absolutely nothing - complete waste of time. Everyone involved or connected to this title should be embarrassed and ashamed for releasing this into the world. Catastrophic filmmaking - should be banned.
