The Game Plan Reviews
Cute movie for the kiddos.
A moving film about the relationship between a father and daughter. I cried and laughed with this film, I saw it twice, but both times were really very moving, it was moving to tears. I highly recommend everyone to see this film.
Filme mais ou menos, o roteiro é fraco, as cenas fo filme não são boas e engraçadas, o the rock até tenta fazer o filme ser bom mss não consegue
Enjoyable but nothing more.
not good but not bad either, its exactly a very family friendly movie that sounds and its for disney channel, its not impressive but its enjoyable to watch with kids or in a boring friday. the reviews back in 2007 didnt know what they were talking about, literally all we get now are slops with the rock in it, at least he was more human here in this one
Another case of Critics not knowing what their talking about and looking at a film with less emotion than a stone. Ignore the useless tomatoes for this film. A brilliant feel good movie.
Starring Dwayne Johnson as a bachelor pro football quarterback who finds out he has an eight year-old daughter played by Madison Pettis. A good portion of the comedy in this movie is from awkward comedic scenes that I am not a fan of. The acting in this film seemed inconsistent in tone, as if some actors didn’t quite take the role as seriously as it should have been while others were. This would point to the director being the problem. I did enjoy the first half of the third act before the big finale, but the rest of the movie is a snooze-fest that even the charisma of Dwayne Johnson couldn’t save. Skip this movie.
Great family and kids movie from Disney.
Taking on the surprised single dad story, The Game Plan lands Dwayne Johnson in the hot seat, early in his movie career. Playing the self absorbed football player, Joe Kingman, Johnson stars aside the adorable Madison Pettis as his long lost daughter Peyton Kelly. While the premise is fairly basic, the duo add a loving charm to the story and fully invest you into it. Though the acting is cheesy throughout and not every joke lands, that isn't going to turn viewers away from this cute film. The Game Plan doesn't break new ground in terms of its type of film, but it is quite fun and enjoyable for the whole family.
Acting is alright. The rock is painfully bad at any scenes other than be macho man especially any sort of emotional scenes. Luckily, he had very minimal emotional scenes. The story screams Disney so it's incredibly predictable with decent comedy and a heartfelt ending.
The Game Plan is exactly what you would expect upon looking at the film poster. With a fairly straightforward concept and a script made for children, there is nothing exceptional about this movie. It was interesting to see the Rock in the infant stage of his film career (he has definitely taken some acting lessons since 2007). I left the film mildly surprised by a small twist and somewhat entertained.
The Game Plan is a heartwarming and entertaining movie that showcases Dwayne Johnson's acting versatility. Johnson plays the role of Joe Kingman, a tough and arrogant football player who suddenly finds himself having to take care of his long-lost daughter. The movie highlights the struggles and joys of fatherhood as Joe navigates his way through the responsibilities of being a parent while also trying to maintain his successful career. What sets The Game Plan apart from other family movies is its ability to balance humor and emotion. The comedic moments are well-timed and never feel forced, while the touching scenes are genuinely heartwarming without being overly sentimental. Johnson's performance is also noteworthy, as he brings depth and nuance to a character that could have easily been one-dimensional. Overall, The Game Plan is a delightful movie that will appeal to both children and adults. It's a perfect choice for a family movie night and a must-watch for fans of Dwayne Johnson's work.
The best movie I in love the movie alot.
muy bien : )
Pretty fun family comedy with some cute and funny parts
One of my favorite movies of all time. A very fun family comedy with a heartwarming plot.
This Disney movie was great. Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, Madison Pettis, Kyra Sedgwick, Paige Turco, Roselyn Sanchez, and the rest of the cast did a great job in this movie. The story of the movie was entertaining, dramatic, and heartfelt. It's about stepping up and doing the right thing. If you haven't seen this movie yet, check it out sometime. It's a great movie for an entire family.
The Game Plan uses the same basic playbook other movies have been using for years. It's the story of a selfish individual who has no time for children, suddenly having to deal with a child in their lives. However, the supporting cast is better at acting than the stars, and the writing is predictable and clumsy. It's a harmless family film, but I don't think I'll be watching it again.

I don't care about the negative reviews. Sure, it's predictable, so what? Dwayne Johnson is such an engaging presence and his acting skills continue to increase. He has a gift for comedy but someday he might try something heavier--maybe play a bad guy who keeps his shirt on.
