Before embarking on a once-in-a-lifetime road trip, Andy Brewster pays a visit to his overbearing mother, Joyce. That proves to be a big mistake; Andy caves in under pressure to take his mom along for the ride. Early on -- as the miles roll by -- Andy feels nothing but aggravation at her antics. Eventually however, he comes to realize that they have more in common than he first thought and that Joyce's wisdom might be just what he needs.

Rogen and Streisand share adequate chemistry but seldom seem like the real deal in Anne Fletcher's fourth movie... Under her direction, Streisand and Rogen look like a pair of actors saying jokes written for them by a comedy think tank.

Loved this film with a touch of adventure and a lot of sentiment. Great performances from both main characters. Ultimately I found it a great mum and son movie and loved the touches discreetly put in place in the very last scene confirming that the whole movie was about relationship very close to a mother's heart.

I don't know what these pseudo critiques want! This is one of the best movies i have watched recently, i only regret why i dint see it earlier. Looks like these people who rated it low want something overrated as oppenhiener and then they will give good reviews. A small movie with lots of emotions is beyond there scope of understanding. Its a winner
