I am a huge fan of the book and had high expectations going into the movie. They captured their relationship and overall storyline of the book beautifully. Lucy and Josh had great chemistry. Can't wait to watch it again!

Started this movie with high expectations. Was met with a teenager’s first-try at a wattpad story. Extremely predictable, absolutely no story line. I would be more interested in watching paint dry.

Watched The Hating Game on Netflix and really enjoyed. The leads have chemistry, the dialogue is witty, and the pacing is excellent. Definitely one of the better rom-coms. Never read the book, so can't comment on that. Appreciate that this is a well produced film not from The Hallmark Channel. We barely get any films like this these days.

Lead characters were cast well. Definitely chemistry. But I can’t get past the male chauvinist traits in both males leads. It’s not based in the 1970’s where you would expect that level of snark. Not funny in a modern movie.
