I admire their relationship, which lasted into old age. Some aspects were very touching, but the plot twists and simplistic resolutions left me feeling confused. In summary, I find this to be an intriguing road movie; however, the pacing of the plot is somewhat disorienting, and the ending took so fast by surprise.

TLS is a moving tribute to the mighty talents of Dame Helen Mirren and Donald Sutherland in their later years. Fans of NOMADLAND and the Winnebago scenes in FRASIER should enjoy their picaresque misadventures throughout the American South in various states of consciousness.

This movie was offensive in so many ways. The wife could not accept the husband's dementia so was cruel to him every time he couldn't remember something. She also did not keep an eye on him, so problems ensured from that. And the finale of murder-suicide is SO AGEIST! So, all infirm people should end it all?

I would have preferred a faster pace. Some of the humor wasn't so funny. And I got quite tired of their son's whining. Having said that, I enjoyed the movie. Mirren & Sutherland are well paired. Under the circumstances, I think the ending was an agreeable one. I'm 79 years old, a year older than Mirren & 9 yrs younger than Southerland. The movie struck more chords for me than it would have 20-30 years ago. Janis Joplin singing "Me & Bobby McGee" fit perfectly. "Freedom's just another word for nothing left to lose."

Perhaps predictable, but very well produced and with a wonderful acting performance by Helen Mirren and Donald Sutherland. This movie always runs on a thin line between comedy and drama. However, in the end, a romantic and moving story!

A movie that resonates with an older crowd and hits so many points dead on. I do not know how I would've felt about this movie in my younger years, but I think it's a great conversation piece for multi-geberational families.

The leisure seeker pretty much relies on the great performances of the leads. Donald Sutherland and Helen Mirren work great together. Beyond that the movie has some Laughs but it’s very uneven. It drags along and some parts just are not funny and the ending is kind of morbid. It’s a decent little film for older couples That’s good to watch for the performances alone.

Fine actors wasted on an aimless and unnecessarily blunt and sometimes crude account. Don't waste your time.

Purtroppo tutti gli attori a parte Sutherland e Mirren sono veramente scarsi e in italiano pure doppiati come peggio non si poteva.

This film is definitely a touching film, with the strong duo of Mirren and Sutherland. The story can be a little predictable, but lovely to watch if you are in the mood of watching a not too heavy, but relatable and human film. I certainly liked it!

I liked the film very much, well shot, well done, with extraordinary actors, a film that gives emotions from beginning to end ... I don't understand the criticism ratings so low, considering that instead in Europe it was highly acclaimed by critics ...

The only thing surprising about this one was the way everything ended up. Couple in their twilight goes on one last adventure.

The acting was superb and the old couple were very true to life except for the suicide, perhaps. Enjoyed this film.
