This movie has its similarities with another film called The Bucket List, where it was about fulfilling a list of things that the main character still has to do. Sofia Carson had a good chemistry with the new actors because the romantic comedy felt natural as she transitioned from one person to another. Although changing relationships is common, it felt too abrupt and there was not enough time to recuperate. The bondage between a deceased mother and the daughter was strong and powerful, with plenty of connections with friends with Carson's character. Connie Britton's presence did elevate the performance, making Sofia Carson much more improved in this relatively mature role.

Netflix's version of what I imagine every typical Hallmark movie is. The acting is probably better than a Hallmark movie but it's pretty predictable and longer than it really should be. I think the worse thing about it is the main character is pretty horrible. She's is annoying, stuck-up, and acts like everyone around her owes her something... it takes away from anything good about the rest of it.
