The Nun II Reviews
They tried, it's an ok movie
It’s worth the watch but doesn’t have the creepiness of the first one.
I love the nun 2 best movie the nun 3 coming soon yeah ?
Just Awful. No atmosphere at all, and, it was so silly in some parts I laughed out loud!... I was not alone. The story is daft,... the eyes the eyes! what's next? knees and bumps a daisy? And the constant shrieking of little girls?! Do me a favour! We've pegged this as the next 'Rocky Horror' in our house, we have props too! Now we know it's this nun and not the conjuring nun Valak, we're out. The first one was fantastic, but this one was just predictable and cheesy with zero scares or atmosphere and a weak story, It's a shame because Maurice's character's story deserved better, and Valak was treated like a cheap prop. Funny is not the outcome I'd have expected from a horror film, but there it is.
The Nun II successfully improves by introducing better-structured characters and refraining from the excessive use of jump scares that plagued the first film, however it hasn’t necessarily achieve the same level of distinction or success in a way Annabelle: Creation did in its revival of it’s first Annabelle. Grading: C+
Only thing I liked about this movie was nothing
lol absolute trash why are you actually considering this lol
The scene with the magazine wall is brilliant. Sister number two couldn't act her way out of a paper bag. Otherwise well acted, occasionally quite scary, but overall a waste of time.
'The Nun II' concludes this franchise, at least for the time being, in typical fashion - that being rather dull. I haven't got much new to add, anything I could say I've said much before for most of the other entries; most notably for the original 2018 film. I mainly dislike The Nun character, both in terms of how it looks visually and how it is portrayed audibly - just such a disappointment, 'The Curse of La Llorona' did it greater... not that many would agree with me, admittedly. The human side of all this isn't much better either. The only positive I have is that some of the attacks on the kids here are fairly brutal, though sadly they are few and far between so don't elevate the film all that much. All in all, this is a forgettable flick at best.
Midling movie at best. I wasn't a huge fan of the first one, and the second one falls even shorter.
Nothing special. A bit better and different than The Nun (2018.)
Meh, the first one was much better.
Don't. Just don't. No logics, nothing. Boring, chaotic. Actors are ok, movie is horrible.
Yes, very scary, but of course not as scary as the first in the series. Love these movies.
This is so much better than the first nun movie all tho it has a mystery that we already know the answer
Was not any different from the last and got worse actually
I don't know, but I am really enjoying the Conjuring series of movies. The first nun was alright, but this sequel was far better. A much more explained plot that made me more intrigued as it went. Curious to see how things continue to move from here.
