Alison Herman The Ringer The Resort’s straightforwardness seems to free up its goofier side, starting with the performances. Jul 30, 2022 Full Review Leslie Felperin Guardian This inane horror movie is so ludicrously cliche-ridden one starts to wonder if it's not some kind of sophisticated meta-joke being played on us. Rated: 1/5 Apr 30, 2021 Full Review Jenny Nulf Austin Chronicle The direction for the actors is aimless, scattered, and hollow. They mouth inaudible things to each other while another character is talking, distract when they are supposed to be in the background, and lack any sort of chemistry. Rated: 1/5 Apr 29, 2021 Full Review Dallas King Outtake Mag The Resort offers a fright-filled mini-break, but ultimately fails to deliver a truly memorable time. Do not expect a glowing review on TripAdvisor! Rated: 2/5 Nov 12, 2022 Full Review Keith Garlington Keith & the Movies It’s hamstrung by a tiny budget and hampered by a script that doesn’t have enough ideas of its own to fill the movie’s lean 70-minute running time. Rated: 1.5/5 Aug 17, 2022 Full Review John Serba Decider Save for a couple instances of ooey-gooey practical makeup FX, the film fails on every level. Aug 2, 2021 Full Review Read all reviews

Joe Corny acting & looked totally fake. We took our 11 year old niece to it & she thought it was terrible. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 05/26/21 Full Review NWSBurger Didnt these guys check their work? Editing left in snippets where Lex speaks but theres no audio, and it happened multiple times in a few minutes! The ending was abrupt and felt thrown together when a deadline was imminent. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 05/25/21 Full Review DF Not scary. At all. Poorly made movie. Total waste of time. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 05/24/21 Full Review Tammy The movie was awful! A definite waste of money! Rated 1 out of 5 stars 05/02/21 Full Review Jaime A Just one word: BRUH. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/25 Full Review Pogely W This movie's plot is...okay at the starting I guess, and then, when they actually go to the resort, it gets so much dumber than before. The audio was also bad, it was so muffled and kinda sounded like I recorded it on my phone. Ending was horrible, SFX were so fake looking, bad acting, don't waste your 1 hour and 15 minutes on this crap. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 03/15/25 Full Review Read all reviews
