Grant Hermanns Screen Rant Stevan Mena's The Ruse may have a few fun twists in its climax, but the lead up is an overlong, poorly performed mess of clichés and red herrings. Rated: 3/10 May 16, 2025 Full Review Dustin Chase Galveston Daily News Hollywood desperate for content on the big screen is now elevating what should be made for 온라인카지노추천 movies or direct to VOD onto the big screen. Rated: C- May 16, 2025 Full Review Miyako Pleines Spectrum Culture If you’re going to make a movie that hinges on the concept of a haunting taking place, it’s probably not a good idea to give everything away in the title. May 16, 2025 Full Review Mark Dujsik Mark Reviews Movies It's not a great sign when a movie needs to devote about ten minutes to a character bluntly explaining everything that has happened ... in its story. Rated: 1.5/4 May 16, 2025 Full Review Avi Offer NYC Movie Guru Dull, shallow and contrived with an increasingly preposterous plot. May 15, 2025 Full Review Robert Kojder Flickering Myth With the title The Ruse, at least writer/director Stevan Mena has done the courtesy of letting viewers know there is little to trust here and that there is a high probability that the story will be absurd and implausible Rated: 2/5 May 14, 2025 Full Review Read all reviews

Jeff Was an OK movie with a few plot twists & turns but got a little silly near the end. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 05/16/25 Full Review Mr. Hollywood Wanted to like it so bad but it ended doing what you shouldnt do with this genre: explaining and over explaining at the end. It acted like we needed to be told everything because the director wasnt confident wed understand. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 05/16/25 Full Review Hadassa W Went to see this because of Madelyn Dundon, who is from my hometown. Was glad to support her and satisfy my curiosity. But like the critics said, this is not a very good movie. I'd say the best parts were the music and the scenery. The movie was set in a beautiful location -- looked like Maine. Otherwise, the premise is hokey and the development is weak. As one critic said, it's not a good sign when a substantial part of the film is a character explaining the storyline.
