Laura B As already happens in Kiarostami's previous films, 'The Traveler' constitutes a lesson in life and growth for its protagonist. A kind of initiatory journey in which the young man must overcome the various obstacles that arise to face the final test, in this case, the nightmare he has while taking a nap before the start of the match. By falling asleep, Ghasem misses the match and does not achieve his final goal. However, this does not matter since the adventure he experienced, from leaving the Malayer region to travel to the capital, has offered him a valuable life experience.
