Henry U "Tomorrow Before after" is an astonishing post-apocalyptic film that delivers a gripping and emotionally charged experience. The film centers on the harrowing journey of a lone woman and her loyal dog, who are on the brink of sanity in a desolate world. The story takes a powerful turn when the protagonist discovers she is pregnant, forcing her to confront the enormity of her new reality and the hope she carries for repopulating the earth. The lead actress delivers a stellar performance, portraying her character's vulnerability, resilience, and inner strength with remarkable depth. Her chemistry with the dog is heartwarming and genuine, providing a touching counterpoint to the harshness of their surroundings. The film's cinematography skillfully captures the bleakness of the environment while highlighting moments of profound beauty and hope. "Tomorrow Before After" excels in its exploration of human endurance and the instinct to protect and nurture life even in the darkest times. The narrative is both haunting and uplifting, weaving a tale of survival, redemption, and the enduring power of hope. It's a cinematic experience that will leave audiences reflecting on the strength of the human spirit long after the credits roll. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/05/25 Full Review Craig R This might be the worst movie I have ever seen. If screaming irks you, DO NOT watch this movie! The entire movie is the main character screaming. Screaming in general for no reason at all, or alternately screaming at the voices in her head. Screaming, "LOBO" (the dog she found... then lost, so she continuously screams his name). Then in between her screaming his name, when he does show up now and then the screaming gives way to dog barking (the dog's version of screaming). Then more screaming when she gives birth. Then the baby screaming. No plot whatsoever. DO NOT WATCH IT! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED! Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 03/08/25 Full Review Lori M I pick and choose very carefully the movies that I watch. I was recommended this movie and I am still thinking about it. It was compelling, captivating and full of things to provoke the mind. The actress is brilliant and the story and the cinematic work was off the charts. I cannot say enough about this film and the impact it had on me. I am a now a big fan of Alfonso the director! Amazing! Hope to see more of his magic. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/04/25 Full Review Z A Unlike anything I've ever seen. Loved this movie! The director is another level. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/07/25 Full Review Casaurora D I love this movie! No, this is not your typical syfy post-apocalyptic movie… because for the very first time, actually, theres only one person/woman and a dog. Unlike all post-apocalyptic movies, like "I am legend" which they sale us that there's only ONE man (and a dog - which gets killed, WTH) but then, suddenly, other characters appear. In this movie the biggest challenge is her utter solitude, and the child she is carrying inside of her that I believe is an alien! WOW! Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 01/07/25 Full Review Frecuencia de Arte & Love it or hate it this is a must watch film but you must be ready to understand the complexity of the over all universe of Tomorrow Before After. I am Lucky to have watched the film at the Icaro International festival of Central America in Guatemala City... and wow... with a full amazed audience that stayed for an hour with the director, we were able to go deep into what is coming and it is mind blowing. Indeed, I repeat, a must watch and now that is on Apple I had to see it again! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 12/27/24 Full Review Read all reviews
