Enjoyable comedy with a nice deadpan performance from Mark Palmieri.

Although plot-wise this indie is somewhat dull, the film reminds me of an Odyssey where Odysseus is a young slacker searching for his way home (his stolen gun) in the wild Mediterranean (New Jersey suburbs) and meeting many strange mythological creatures (New Jersey residents) along the way, guided by Athena ( Eddie, his buddy's father). Although not a favorite, it's interesting if you like the quietly quirky.
