Trespass Reviews
Worse movie ever! The writers are PATHETIC. The post is RIDICULOUS. The actors should be very embarrassed
Love Nichole, but this movie is really bad. Starts out okay, but that drags so badly, that a 90-minute movie seems like 3 hours.
The cast makes it and sells it. Overcasted for such a basic story that meanders along comfortably as slightly above average towards an ending that does not shock.
I'm from Italy and I'm not surprised to read that in my country it was directly distributed on home video. mediocre thriller in which there is not a moment of tension. There are no creative ideas in any technical sector, it looks like a 온라인카지노추천 film. Maybe Ben Mendelsohn's interpretation can be saved but at this point I'm not even sure...
If the amped-up damsel in distress nonsense doesn’t give you an instant headache, the waste of the talent brought in to execute this woeful movie will definitely have you reaching for the Nurofen. Even Nic has done much better things. Nuff said.
Nothing wrong with a good thriller with a good cast.
Watchable. Some good story ideas, but badly handed - could/should have been miles better. Missed opportunity. Lousy ending.
Look: this is a Joel Schumacher thriller starring Nicolas Cage, where his opening lines are spent establishing that a lot of people don't understand that diamonds are worth money. At 90 minutes, you get your moneysworth. Ben Mendelsohn with a mustache loses control of his heist crew. Nic Cage goes full Cage a few times in unsuccessful attempts to get his family out of harm's way, before using blood loss as an excuse to stop trying. Nicole Kidman's first five lines are fully Australian and she spends the entire film including flashbacks completely barefoot. This movie doesn't understand how storytelling, fire, guns, or codes work. The performances range from earnest to underwhelming, none of the sequences are as tense as the movie clearly thinks they are, and the "twists" rely on people either lying or being mentally ill. It's not a good film, but it's short enough that it's never boring.
Career low for Kidman, one of many for Cage. Preposterous hostage drama. No one worth rooting for.
It was better than the critics lead me to expect. I quite enjoyed the beginning, although it did start losing it's appeal later on. I quite liked some of the ideas within the story, but they wern't developed well enough to achieve their full potential. One of the problems with a movie like this is that most of the scenes are set in the families house at night. This might be good for keeping the film's budget on track, but for the viewer it's repetative and dull to watch. To overcome this the acting and story would need to be truly amazing, which clearly in this case they aren't. A dull movie like this needs some Hollywood magic like some nice outdoor locations, a catchy soundtrack, some helicopter footage, a chase sequence? The people who made this movie appear to have forgotten the basics.
I enjoyed it, although, at some point, it was unrealistic.
Really enjoyed....very suspenseful!
Stupid movie, 2011 but the plot is from 1990.
I expect better from Joel Schumacher. 'Trespass' isn't ever thrilling even with all the shouting, fast-paced editing style and promising cast.
So bad, so laughable, so embarrassing, it doesn't even deserve a review.
kept me on the edge of my seat awesome film
Everyone in the movie is crazy with something. Even Cage and Kidman are crazy for accepting the roles for the repetitive exchanges. Hard to believe how bad this film is compared to their best films.
The last film made by the late Joel Schumacher and its a mess of a good time.
There was little of value or truth in this movie. The acting was good, though, except for Ben Mendelsohn who didn't seem to put any sort of nuance in his character--which probably wasn't well delineated in the script to start with. Perhaps if Mendelsohn had played the husband, and Cage had played the home invader, Mendelsohn would have been motivated to do more with the material, and the movie would have been better, although still ridiculous. Or if the characters had all just broken out at one point--the point they all must have realized this is a ridiculous movie--and morphed into a movie similar to Blazing Saddles with a lot of gags and the characters morphing into their real selves as they each made apology to the audience.
