Two Weeks Notice Reviews
Started out funny, and Sandra Bullock is brilliant in everything. Movie was trash though, and the romance was even worse.
Not much of a story and not much chemistry. Formulaic although Grant is uncomfortably charming , as always.
Alot of people are saying this movie is a basic romantic comedy, which is all true! Like what are these people actually expecting from a early 2000's rom-com? It to be less generic? Aside from it being that- it is very enjoyable to watch. Sandra always slays and here she is slaying in this rom-com. The British guy is a basic 1 dimensional charector which slowly becomes less obnoxious and slightly enjoyable. That's saying alot because I can't stand British people. The romantic aspect doesn't really make much sense. He just relies on her because she can make decisions and he can't. No clue why the woman fell in love with him though, like for real. Not a single darn clue. BUT this movie was pretty good. It's a classic. Will I watch it again- ya.
Sandra Bullock, embodying the quintessential American matron, and Hugh Grant, the epitome of a British charmer, fail to spark any compelling or watchable chemistry in Two Weeks Notice.
Over. Done. Finished. A comedy about love at last glance. Two Weeks Notice is a 2002 American romantic comedy film written and directed by Marc Lawrence ❤️ Not bad, but not my favourite either 😐 Meh, it passed the time. Just. 😐 👍🏼👎🏼 Dedicated environmental lawyer Lucy Kelson goes to work for billionaire George Wade as part of a deal to preserve a community center. Indecisive and weak-willed George grows dependent on Lucy's guidance on everything from legal matters to clothing. Exasperated, Lucy gives notice and picks Harvard graduate June Carter as her replacement. As Lucy's time at the firm nears an end, she grows jealous of June and has second thoughts about leaving George.
Just a solid romcom with two excellent leads who you can always trust to deliver in this genre. An easy watch with a few smirks along the way. Forgettable but fine. Watched on DVD.
Love the Sandra Bullock, great movie 🤩
Beautiful actors and good film
Right or wrong one of my favorite rom coms. The chemistry is very good as they play off each other seamlessly. Of course you will find a lot of criticism of the movie but compared to what they are making today these older movies are 10x better written, acted and more fun to watch than anything made in the last 3-5 years.
Basic love story comedy yet again showing how guys get wooed by ladies
Predictable Romantic Comedy but the two lead actors make it good enough to sit through.
Slightly above average rom com with some memorable standout scenes. Overall, Hugh Grant is just Hugh Grant and Sandra Bullock is just Sandra Bullock, not really winning any awards for creativity but it was a fun enough watch.
Tired, dull and to be honest nothing but pure trash. The wooden dialogue and acting, the complete dearth of anything funny and a lack of anything at all that resembles originality combines to produce this mess.
Not a High Grant fan….
Loved watching this. An easy watch, Hugh is humorous and Sandra is just as funny.
I could watch a million of these type of movies 3.5
Romcom ? didn't seem much like one - Hugh Grants character is far too shallow and unconvincing - the whole story was actually pretty unconvincing
