One year after her sister Melanie mysteriously disappeared, Clover and her friends head into the remote valley where she vanished in search of answers. Exploring an abandoned visitor center, they find themselves stalked by a masked killer and horrifically murdered one by one... only to wake up and find themselves back at the beginning of the same evening. Trapped in the valley, they're forced to relive the night again and again -- only each time the killer threat is different, each more terrifying than the last. Hope dwindling, the group soon realizes they have a limited number of deaths left, and the only way to escape is to survive until dawn.

William Bibbiani TheWrap If you’re just looking for reasons to jump out of your seat, there are worse ways to spend your time. And a lot of better ways too. Apr 24, 2025 Full Review Benjamin Lee Guardian On its own, lower-stakes terms, Until Dawn is a passable, if rather unfrightening frightener, made with some skill and enlivened by a strong troupe of young actors. Rated: 3/5 Apr 24, 2025 Full Review Erik Piepenburg New York Times Watching someone play a video game that they never let you play is a singular kind of boring. A similar “why am I here?” dullness arrives early and stays late in Until Dawn. Apr 24, 2025 Full Review Eric Eisenberg CinemaBlend The field is wide open to try and hit on a bunch of different subgenres and monsters, and there are a number of cool ideas that result in fun and freaky sequences, but the movie falls short of fulfilling the heights of its promise. Rated: 3/5 Apr 24, 2025 Full Review Murjani Rawls Substream Magazine In total, this effort is probably the best route an “Until Dawn’ film could have taken – a haunted house or, in this case, rotating scenarios of horror, you know, with a somewhat believable story at the center. Apr 24, 2025 Full Review Thom Ernst Original Cin Until Dawn is a gleeful reimagining of the classic slasher film, modifying the tropes enough to turn the familiar fresh. It's iTexas Chainsaw Massacre without the chainsaws, Friday the 13th on a different date, a wide awake Nightmare on Elm Street. Rated: B-plus Apr 24, 2025 Full Review Read all reviews
