Renata Adler New York Times It is rare to find a portrayal of a gentle young man without any air of effeminacy or saintliness. Dennis Waterman does the whole difficult thing exactly right. Jan 9, 2018 Full Review Manny Farber Artforum [It assumes] good acting is the automatic result of a deep, uncritical, tough, saccharine grubbiness. Jun 17, 2019 Full Review Read all reviews

John T I watched this movie last night and it’s absolutely rubbish , the ending was bad and I’m stlll baffled , are we supposed to feel sympathy for the leading man that stole a car ? Rated 1 out of 5 stars 05/17/25 Full Review Peter L Loved it in the 60s and loving it in 2023 Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 05/07/23 Full Review Audience Member I saw Up The Junction many years ago and liked the natural performances of Adrienne Posta and Maureen Lipman who acted really well. And Suzy Kendall acted well and looked great with Denns Waterman. On Facebook we have a group called (Up The Junction Film 1967 Suzy Kendall Dennis Waterman Adrienne Posta) with 583 members including Adrienne Posta and Tony Klinger Producer on the film and Sound Editor Ron Taylor. We have several interesting pictures and videos. Please take a look. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/22/23 Full Review Audience Member Slightly dated British slice-of-life drama. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Audience Member Entertaining bit of drama, posh bird roughs it because she wants to make her own way in the world, without being a 'parasite'. Lots of eventful stuff going on, and very atmospheric. Music is good too. And it's fun to see some familiar faces when they were much younger. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/13/23 Full Review Audience Member brilliant film & it sort of reminds me of the story of the Buddha in a way. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/18/23 Full Review Read all reviews
