Val Reviews
I thought it was interesting and very brave of Val Kilmer
Touching and informative about an actors real life. Just fantastic that Val has documented a lot of his life. Really liked it!
An incredible emotional journey of an actor who is so much more. Loved every moment.
Kilmer is an intriguing subject: someone who has been part of the industry for over three decades but is largely unknown. A moving portrait of a creative person whose life and career have been permanently affected by cancer treatment.
Execellent doc! Very well done, tho it felt just a shade too long
A truly touching memoir, raw and full of emotion.
Too long, repetitive.
I loved the raw honest view Val gives us into his life. It's not always pretty and is quite painful at times but there's no pandering to the audience or rose colored glasses treatment. I can't wait to see it again.
We've always loved Val Kilmer in any of his movies but especially in the Doors movie and Tombstone. Glad he took all those home movies and behind the scenes, I'm sure this movie only was the tip of the iceberg of his collection. We did not know about his brother passing so young. I'm sure he would have been a powerful director in his own right. We hope he continues to live a happy and healthy life. Glad we got to see this.
Great documentary and bio pic! Takes you inside the history and personal life of the actor with his personal home movies.
