Flow could use improvement. Acting carried this movie.

In all honesty, after seeing this for a long time, it's still as funny as it's written to be. Not one of Wes Craven's worst movies either since the horror aspect is a little generic but the humor was as good as most horror comedies be. The performance and chemistry were great, though. I highly recommend it if you're a big time fan of horror comedy movies, I'd say check this movie out. 6/10.

I love this movie came out Halloween 1995 I remember being in 5th grade with a crush, I went to movies a seen it with my crush.. perfect combination of humor/horror a love interest!!! Got me home safe!! Thanks Eddie great movie!!

Vampire in brooklyn is a very interesting movie, I really enjoyed the performances from Eddie Murphy Angela Bassett John Whiterspoon Kadeem Hardison & Allen Payne. Some of the movie was kinda funny most of it was scary when Eddie Murphy was turned into his Dracula look, Wes Craven did good with making a classic vampire tale, I know it's been like a lot and negative reviews from critics and fans saying how terrible this movie Is but I disagree The movie isnt too bad, I actually think it's pretty good and I really enjoy Eddie Murphy's performance in this movie vampire in Brooklyn. West craven was a excellent choice to direct this film in 1995, I Like all the horror theme and comedy together. I give this flim an A For amazing story and excellent performance from the cast, Outrageous comedy and a classic cult flim

All Cops Are Bloodsuckers

This a relatively good movie. Has some laughs and a few jump scares, not always gore everywhere... which is what most vampire movies do now. And it isn't as awful as the critics would want you to claim it to be. But we all know how critics have some weird af tastes...

This is one of those movies that I find delightfully corney.

I used to be really hard on this movie. I'm not sure what my initial expectations were when it came out, because it's a good bit of fun. It feels like a a good balance of humour and vampire drama.

This is Wes Craven's not best horror film but it's less scary more comedy then I suspect.

The film definitely has some funny moments but falls short because humour was its only attribute.

Perhaps Craven's worst. The script lets him down and doesn't know what it wants to be.

Craven's comedy films are only ever as strong as the script he's given, and this one is a mild disaster. His direction not only fails to elevate the material, it confuses it, never allowing the film to work as scary or funny; Hardison and Witherspoon are the only points of fun, and even that's a bit of a stretch. A tepid and lazy excuse for Murphy to play dress-up.

I thought this was a good movie

I've watched this movie several times and maybe I'm just a Wes Craven junkie but to rate this 10% is just injustice! It's a Classic in my Books. Think about it which Vampire has more Swag?

Murphy is laughable in the lead role and the film falls flat in every department.
