Beautiful romantic movie.
Um lindo filme de amor romântico, um pouco de guerra, um pouco dos anos 40, muito sobre família, tradição e amor fraterno, fotografia belíssima, adoro os mexicanos, como eu amo as representações latinas, divertido, leve, agradável e musicalmente colorida... Keanu Reeves lindo, gostoso, charmoso, sexy e bom moço, quero... E sim, o amor dá sinais, ele sempre dá, bem como o desamor... um filme romanticamente adorável...
I love that the critics give it a low rating but the rest of us enjoyed it! It was a very sweet, family-centric movie of a time gone by. Yet, it still rings true ev even now. If you have a couple of hours, enjoy this movie.
I am not a fan of romantic movies. However, this movie pulled at my heartstrings. The acting from all the actors was amazing! So much so it made you fall in love with the characters. The heroine of this movie is relatable to those like myself that come from a background such as this. The need to have the blessing from your parents and the longing for a man that came to your aid without hesitation but would never be accepted for cultural reasons is something that can echo with many women. Not to mention how beautiful the scenery was!

Very dramatic and overdone. I love Keanu Reeves, but this isn’t it.
Almost Disney-like WWII-period fairy-tale/romance made in 1990s with a young Keanu Reeves. I don't recall his romantic pair as an actress - she certainly didn't rocket to stardom as he did. They're pleasant to watch and the time goes by nicely. If it were made in the 2000s, it would be more RomCom, but the comic relief is essentially by Anthony Quinn as the Hispanic pater familia.
I love romance movies and A Walk In The Clouds is a keeper. It's a simple story but I can identify with it. Love between a man and a woman is priceless. I can also see myself in Keanu Reeves shoes having flashback from his combat experiences. I, too, have flashbacks from my combat experiences in Vietnam.
Keanu Reaves is an excellent actor and I think this is one of his best movies. Sometimes…Trying to be helpful can sometimes put one in a bind. He is suddenly helping out a close farm family. The character development of the different generations was excellent and the teamwork and the joy of life were inspiring.
Movie has a great interplay between Anthony Quinn and Keanu Reeves. I watch most every movie out there and this is one of my favorites. I can't pass it up when it's on a movie channel. Well worth watching!

Eyeroll inducing drama predictable in its melodrama.
This is a nice romance film. Its quite sentimental and sappy and so in that respect it may well put people off but its an easy and light watch and I enjoyed the local music played and the cinematography. Some of the dialogue is quite nice but I wouldn't say its a particularly spectacular film, just a relatively nice one.

Sure it's kinda syrpy, but once in a while an over the top drama hits the spot. And, it is shot beautifully.
Amazing and beautiful cinema
Romance at it's best... "She's Like The Air To Me..." Keanu Reeves and Aitana Sanchez-Gijon compliment each other in this romantic movie like any of the great couples of the ages. Full of laughter, tears, wishes and heartache, this is a must to see!
I really love this movie. It's sweet and has a great cast. Keanu Reeves is wonderful in the lead role. The storyline is pretty predictable (think Hallmark-ish) but sometimes that can be a good thing. It's the journey there that's most important. The scenery is breathtaking and quite honestly I'd love to see this one again!
