Divine movie . Spiritual healing. Thanks .

Extremely boring, poor quality pseudo documentary, more like a promotional video. Lacking depth and badly filmed. Very disappointed. Complete waste of money and time...although I only managed to watch half... It was so bad I had to leave the cinema. Had enough. Only did that twice in my life. Bad film.

WITH ALL THE LACK OF CLARITY HERE, THIS MOVIE HAS CONFUSED ME FROM THE BEGINNING TO THE END. IT DOESN'T OFFER ANY NEW INSIGHT TO PLUM VILLAGE'S WAY OF LIFE, NEITHER DOES IT GIVE A CLEAR PICTURE OF WHAT IT IS, OTHER THAN IT BEING A MEDITATION CENTER FILLED WITH MONKS AND NUNS, AND OF COURSE, THICH HIMSELF.

Beautifully captures the human condition.

Beautiful but slow. Some genuinely emotional moments, though.

I am writing this review as a way to set expectations for others seeing this film. I have read a few Thich Nhat Hanh books, meditate on my good days, and since I'm in SD I've even gone and done a couple walking meditations at the nearby Deer Park monastery. I'm not Buddhist but I get value from some of their practices. So I was excited to see this film and waited several months for a showing in SD. The trailer is amazing - Cumberbatch narrating beautiful scenes around a Buddhist monastery and Thich Nhat Hanh doling out his sage wisdom. The trailer was clearly made by someone other than the director. The film itself is a disjointed collection of long un-narrated scenes with no explanation.. And every 15 minutes or so the disembodied voice of Cumberbatch would read a line or two from a Buddhist poem with footage from a thunderstorm or night sky playing. These poem scenes are the only 'narration' in the film. Several minutes of the monks in a chow hall eating with no narration or explanation. Several minutes of monks walking through rain with no narration. Monks washing dishes. These are typical scenes in the film which are representative of the whole. This is only the second film in my 40 years that I've walked out of. Luckily Star Wars was playing in the next theater so it wasn't a total loss. If you enjoy Thich Nhat Hanh your time is better spent doing a walking meditation or reading some passages from one of his books then to see this movie.

Disjoint and scattered for an attempt at depicting monastic life...

Going to a journey, the movie itself is a meditation. For those just seeking it is just an introduction, for those already into practice it is the practice. Well done.

Beautiful and calming, "Walk with Me" made me think about how much kinder we would be if we slowed down. I entered a dreamlike state during the middle of the film and may have briefly fallen asleep. Seeing people so happy and living with so little brought tears to my eyes. Colors were enhanced and my gratitude for my wife was stronger when I left the theater.

The movie is slow and gentle. I found myself more and more relaxed as I was was walking with Thich and also accompanying the monks and nuns in their work and life. This was a "movie meditation" - sweet and touching, peaceful and gentle. I saw him in the mid-1990's and he is a gentle soul. We need people like him and his community who seek a deeper connection to themselves, to others and our earth.

I have been meditating every day for many years. I found this movie poorly made, boring, and uninspiring. Unfortunate. I left before the end.

I wanted to like tihis as I have Buddhist leanings.. But meh.. boring, wandering, random, no bones, no meat. Lovely narration by Benedct Cumberbatch and some pretty scenes, some pretty words, some nice faces.

Self-referential , quite boring and with an easy going cinematography, the movie doesn't tell you that much about mindfulness or its protagonists. I've appreciate just the sound designer.

Really peaceful film. It's more about a day in the life of a monk/nun, not so much about the entire Buddhist philosophy. Reminds of how important it is to take a break from the rat-race of life, and be in the moment.
