Tedious remake of several films. James Panko cannot act and plays like the whole thing is a joke. How did Brian Cranston get involved on this crap?

I always say you can tell a good movie from the first 3 minutes, this movie has been nothing but great! I highly dislike and don't recomend it.

This is a standard 'meet the family' rom-com, with some twists. Language is rampantly over the top as a plot point. That said, just when something would go over the top a great acting job or clever line would pull the movie back into line and I laughed out loud often. I also identified with characterizations in the film and had a good time rolling with the punches like the family. Fun, silly, and funny throughout - worthwhile if you want a light rom-com.

Why...make this movie?

Muito, muito bobo, mas absolutamente divertido, de tão absurdo... Tem momento família tão fofo, que também soa absurdo considerando o contexto cômico, as cenas divertidas, sempre muito exageradas, mas na maioria das vezes funciona bem, com todo cunho sexual (também exagerado, mas quando na medida soa bem divertido) e as participações especiais de Elon Musk e KISS... Roteiro inteligente, embora depreciativo, ótima execução... Exagerado, engraçadinho, bobo, adorável, família e absurdo...

Filme ruim, o roteiro é ruim, o filme tem cenas forçadas para ser engraçadas como o começo que o James franco já entra no quarto da sua namorada querendo foder, e teve outras assim forçadas, o elenco é bacana, mas quase não ajuda a melhorar o filme, com isso, eu não recomendo esse filme.

Lost of Time. Not funny at all.

I hate to say it, but James Franco is just gross. I used to be a fan but this movie is so basic and crude that it’s unwatchable (they left the funny out, so there’s that too). Grow up writers. Make funny smart (and then it can be gross too).

Greatest Christmas movie since National Lampoons Christmas Vacation.

I’m amazed they Bryan Cranston agreed to be in this film. It’s so below him. James Franco is a terrible actor and creepy Keegan Michael-Keys fake whatever accent it is, is just embarrassing. Adam DeVine is terrible in everything he is. Not sure why he keeps trying to be an actor. It’s shameful. Megan Mullalley weird child like voice just grates. This film tries to be funny with gross innuendo and cursing. But it makes for an unpleasant watch.

This is mostly um….. a movie. It was ok I guess and it did have some genuinely funny moments, with the first about half an hour actually being very good, but overall it falls, acting isn’t good jokes become brining and overdone Not worth your time

I'm tired of the formulaic Hallmark Christmas movies. This is the answer. James Franco and Bryan Cranston are brilliant. Sure, it subscribes to the father versus fiance formula, but it adds some genuine must see edginess to it. Ignore the score and have a fun romp.

Really disappointed with this movie, since they advertised it so well! I was looking forward to watching it for ages but never got round to it, now I have and it was awful couldn’t even get to the end, the kind of movie you watch hoping to get better but stays at the same place, literally nothing happens from start to finish and the scenes are way to long and fizzles out yet the camera guy keeps recording( can’t believe they got Elon Musk in for it)!!! GARBAGE

Wow. I wasn't expecting that. This movie is great! It came on after watching another movie on Hulu and I ended up laughing hysterically at it! It's severely underrated by both the critics and the audience IMO. This is so awkwardly HILARIOUS! As a Dad with 3 daughters, it may have struck my funny bone a little more than others, but I feel there is enough humor in here for many to relate to. How can you not laugh at a movie with Megan Mullally, Keegan-Michael Key and Cedric The Entertainer? Bryan Cranston was great as a Dad who wants only the best for his daughter. If you've seen it before 8 years ago and didn't like it, maybe you need to give it another chance? So many great lines, moments, and situations.

Probably the worst movie I've ever seen. It' one continuous James Franco monologue inappropriately violating boundaries and disrespecting everyone around him. That is literally the entire movie. Cringe the entire movie every single scene. Highly do not recommend.

Overall i think it was a solid good movie. It had a good meaningful story, a lot of good lessons and a great ending. Very intriguing and had me hooked the whole time!! I will say it’s a little cliche and nothing crazy out of the new but still a great film. If you thought it wasn’t funny you need to get that stick up out of your butt and stop being such a debby downer. Super funny and a good watch!!

An actually funny comedy with a good, recognisable cast. The humour isn’t too predictable which makes the film more enjoyable. It’s one to rewatch but you need to wait a long time or else it’s a bit dry.

This is a nice easy watch. It’s a bit nuts and at some times inappropriate but it is fun with some fun big name cameos. Fast paced and not too predictable.
