One of the most hearteningly humane discourses defined by utter engagement and invaluable discovery of the self, interacting in the new world, but the best strength in the comedically graced picture is the enduring friendship with natural infectious charms coasting positively and supportively. Super sweet and super sad. Although i am concerned about the unnecessary vitriolic and hate, I mean, really, what difference do it make, I am i hopeful as it seemed more folks were open and appreciative of Harpers journey than weren't. I do hope that America has the opportunity to continue to grow and become more accepting of people who are different than the mainstream.

I went into this documentary as something to watch on a long plane ride. Came out of it changed on Harper and Will. A must see documentary. Cried thru the show and at the end. So proud of Harper and so sad how he could not live his life for decades. Please watch.

It's fine and informative, but a little bit into itself. I'm learning and educating, but don't quite understand so films like this are important to the culture. It is just a touch boring and stretched. A little Will Ferrell goes a long way and this is A LOT of him! Final Score: 6.5/10

It's was boring and very staged for a "documentary". Felt more like a political statement than an actual story.

This film has taught me a far greater appreciation for Will Ferrell & though I didn't know anything of Harper coming into this, her genuiness rings though here and was truly moving. She is a modern day sage, a beacon of wisdom and beauty. I will be looking up to find which SNL bits she wrote. If anyone could respond here with suggestions on which ones are must sees, I'd appreciate it. I'll be forever grateful that Will & Harper made the effort to share this touchingly beautiful personal story. This film awakened something in my heart that I didn't know existed. Love wins sometimes.

We finished watching, and my face was a hot, salty, wet mess. Will Ferrell is absolved of every stupid, groan-inducing sketch or movie he’s ever inflicted on me (and Harper Steele is absolved of writing most of them). At least give them Oscar noms (and one for Kristen Wiig’s song).

What a beautiful movie. To be honest, I’ve never been a big fan of Will Farrell movies in past, so it took me a minute to watch it. His just isn’t a style of comedy that gives me belly laughs. But wow, did this movie grab my heart, mind and respect. And I hope gave me greater understanding. Outstanding film. Such honesty, vulnerability and courage from Harper. And Farrell. I was blown away. It’s not often that you see a film and want to simply say “thank you.” Just “thank you.” To all involved. It felt like a love letter to humanity.
