In the wake of an apparent accident, a bewildered man (Adrien Brody) finds himself pinned to the seat of a mangled car in the wilderness, his traveling companions both dead. Suffering from memory loss and badly injured, the man is forced to remain in the car. As the days pass, he struggles to distinguish between reality and paranoid fantasy as he pieces together the events leading up to his current predicament -- and in doing so makes a shocking discovery about his own dark capabilities.

omg! What was the point of this movie? It sure wasn't ENTERTAINMENT. It was a major downer! What in the hell did they talk about in their production meetings about this movie? This is one of those movies you would never ever think of seeing again.

The location suggested it was a Canadian production so I expected depth and a different approach but i did not expect so slow a pace. Yet it was a well done movie using only about a half dozen extras briefly to backup the Oscar winner from "The Piano Player. " It was no surprise to see such a low score on Rotten Tomatoes; it didn't have the audience that propels today's US film figures: ages 15-30 c vulgarity, noise, bustle, guns though it DID HAVE ONE CAR WRECK! It certainly took its toll on its leading man (remember how he leaped OVER the chairs at the Academy Awards when his name was called for Best Actor—- and he still had enough breath and chutzpah to embrace the lady handing him his trophy prize. And I liked the movie. It could have done better with a more aware audience, better promotion and more slick advertising. Eric Anderson, California.

A painful long-winding helpless in the wood, it's a lonely survival journey reminds me of Tom's Cast Away with a twist. Budget filmmaking done right with a simple plot, nothing but reflections & hallucination can't fix.
