Don’t go in with the expectation of it being the same as 1-6, this mostly feels like wrong turn 6. Heavy focus on story and characters. There is some good gore but not as much as other wrong turns. However an amazing addition and reboot.

While it's my first wrong turn film I don't think the other films are like this it actually kinda works and is actually quite entertaining but not really scary .

Loads of swearing as gap filling . Typical remake these days utter rubbish. IT’s right up there with the remake of predator. Is it a competition to see who can say the F word the most

This is not what I would want for a Wrong Turn remake I just found the movie strange and unnecessary. This movie gets a higher rating than the original Wrong Turn. How the hell does that happen when this movie is not nearly as good. These critics are something else I tell you.

If you're expecting it to be anything like the original Wrong Turn with the girl from "Bring it On" then you'll be sadly mistaken. As this reboot does everything right and manages to keep your attention while stringing the audience along so steadily and yet so fragile...all the shock moments are anything but expected. To put it bluntly, I was expecting the same story, same kills, same characters, but boy was I wrong. Dead wrong.

I enjoyed it a lot and it was a kinda different scenario comparing to its predecessors.

I really liked it, the acting, the rednecks, and the tree scene was fun.

Nice to see a little invention in the slasher genre

I don't know if it's rather due to bad writing or bad acting, but none of the characters, their behaviour, their emotions and their decisions felt real, coherent or comprehensible to me at all. Thus i never really cared about what was happening to them. The idea of an alternative little community getting 'back to the roots' is quite interesting though, and adds something new to the wrong turn series. But i honestly doubt if that is enough of a reason to watch this movie.

Os personagens não sabem falar, na cena do tribunal ficam todos calados ao invés de dizer o que aconteceu como se todos fossem NPCS, e o roteiro é fraco.

It was a complete disgrace to the serries. They should have named it something different so it wouldn't be categorized with the original movies. I couldn't even finish it it was so bad. Pure garbage.

Great movie, but they shouldn't have called it Wrong Turn. I would have appreciated it more if it had an original title, like "the foundation" for example.

4.5/5 One of the best horror films in a while. I must admit, I am not a fan of most modern horror films, I feel we have already peaked and now gone downhill in many films of the genre, but this one was a general surprise at how good it was. I truly enjoyed the acting, premise and plot of this one, it was different to many of the wrong turn films but I felt for the better. The pace is well done, suspenseful and creepy, I love the trial scene when you're lead to believe that it is the teenagers who have gotten everything wrong. Only to find the true colours of the cult later on. A great watch and a film I would love to own on DVD. Highly recommend

Rotten is an understatement. I couldn't even finish this movie it was so bad.

If you’re looking for a reboot like the original, don’t waste your time. Passes the time. Wouldn’t really recommend to someone.

Surprisingly good! While the title may be a bit misleading, the film itself is thoroughly enjoyable. A different title might have gained more appreciation from both audiences and critics. Don't let the name fool you—this movie is definitely worth watching.
