Sheila O'Malley RogerEbert.com A unique and startling film, decidedly its own "thing," albeit steeped in the horror tradition. Rated: 3.5/4 Mar 22, 2024 Full Review John Anderson Wall Street Journal You’ll Never Find Me is one more indication that some of the most creative work on screens large and small is being done in genre film, and that there is wisdom in prioritizing soundscape over landscape or visual effects. Mar 21, 2024 Full Review Randy Myers San Jose Mercury News Through the use of sound and shadowy cinematography, a great sense of unease cloaks this taut bone-chiller, a chamber piece played to perfection by its two leads. Rated: 3/4 Mar 20, 2024 Full Review Ygraine Hackett-Cantabrana What a Scream Podcast Despite its crawling and dialogue heavy first half, the film rewards audiences with a satisfying and disturbing crescendo of a final sequence... Rated: 4/5 Sep 3, 2024 Full Review Aaron Murray Loud and Clear Reviews Indianna Bell and Josiah Allen’s You’ll Never Find Me is a masterclass in tension that also displays the potential pitfalls and benefits of knowing your pace. Rated: 3.5 Aug 4, 2024 Full Review Katelyn Nelson Daily Grindhouse Confined to a single setting and only three characters ever mentioned, it's a harrowing slow burn that does an exceptional job of making the viewer feel just a little bit like we're looking in on something we shouldn't be. Jeepers C This movie is a slow slow burn psychological horror. It creates tension well, but the movie just drags too long on some scenes. The ending wasn't my favorite and at times it was hard to make out what the actors were saying. Their accent was muffled. If I would have had subtitles, I may have liked it better. Heretic starring Hugh Grant, was a much better and thought out psychological horror movie in my opinion. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/30/25 Full Review Christopher H You'll Never Find Me' is a masterclass in psychological dread. A master of suspense director crafts a claustrophobic nightmare within a single trailer, amplified by a relentless storm. The sound design alone is a character, a symphony of howling wind and dripping dread. Two characters, subtly off, engage in a conversation that's a slow burn of unease, leaving you questioning everything. The film's strength lies in its realism, its ability to make the unsettling feel terrifyingly plausible. The ending? Let's just say it's a gut punch, perfectly executed. I called it early on, though, and the earring detail? Confirm ed it. To That sealed the deal. A testament to the film's meticulous construction. 'You'll Never Find Me' isn't just a thriller; it's an experience that lingers, a chilling reminder of the unease lurking beneath the surface. Expect a profound feeling of paranoia. A true suspense masterpiece. The only real downside was inherent limitations to the story. It's all set in the trailer and it's dialogue between two people. It's slow. Lol That's why I gave it the score that I did. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/27/25 Full Review Matthew P I fell asleep half a dozen times while trying to watch this - at least I'll know what to use if I ever have a bout of insomnia. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 03/07/25 Full Review Avindu G This is proper weekend horror. The story develops a little too slow at times but scattered clues and the dubious dialogues keeps the anxiety levels on check. Excellent effort with cinematography that signals the direction of the story. Plot twist was remarkable to conclude this reminiscence of horrors. Excellent visuals to take the audience in this maddening trip. Equally good audio effects that intensifies the sense of danger. Perfect work by Rock to portray the nullity of Patrick's mind and Cowan in portraying the transforming character of visitor. With a limited space of a camper the movie proves the unlimited potential of a well crafted psychological thriller. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/03/25 Full Review Audience Member Pretty tense thriller. Though a slow-burn type of movie, was very creepy and effective. Great use of sound, it amped up the tension. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/17/25 Full Review Chris Y Never listen to "professional" film critics. This film is rubbish. Australian film has really lost it's way, and this is no different..."mate"...
