Until Dawn (2025)
50%
2.5/5
““Until Dawn” is hampered by a few too many weak spots that keep it from gelling into the killer horror experience it teases. ” –

Havoc (2025)

“It’s a little bit of John Wick mixed with a little bit of John Woo. But Evans puts his own furiously violent stamp on the action which is what gives “Havoc” its style and energy.” –

Sinners (2025)

4/5
“It’s a richly imagined movie dripping with cultural flavor and possessing a keen sense of time and place….At the same time, “Sinners” turns into a blood-bathed vampire movie reminiscent of Robert Rodriguez’s “From Dusk till Dawn”.” –

The Amateur (2025)

““The Amateur” is both competently and confidently made...But it’s not without its flaws. A tighter second half and more Jon Bernthal would have done wonders for this entertaining but drawn-out feature.” –

Drop (2025)

““Drop” is an efficient and fun date-night thriller that doesn’t ask or expect too much from its audience. It’s pure, straight-shooting entertainment and I can’t help but appreciate it for knowing exactly what it is.” –

Warfare (2025)
93%
4.5/5
“The movie's focus remains on the men in uniform, and for 93 minutes we follow them through the trenches of warfare where we're inspired by acts of heroism yet grieved at the human cost. It's the latter that makes "Warfare" such a gut punch. ” –

Hell of a Summer (2023)

2/5
““Hell of a Summer” has a hard time standing out in a memorable way. It can’t quite muster the same appeal as the blood-soaked genre movies it clearly admires. And it doesn’t have enough of its own flavor to come across as something original.” –

Death of a Unicorn (2025)

3.5/5
“The film’s ultimate interest is in skewering the uber-wealthy through an outlandish scenario that may be a bit uneven in spots, but that ultimately finds a good rhythm amid the slew of gags and gore.” –

Shudderbugs (2022)
