The Salon Reviews
I Thought this movie was funny the way the people that worked in the solan was like family it feels like a place you would want to go to. This movie is hilarious, but when the serious stuff comes Vivican Fox does a great job at it. This movie was a lot similar to Barbershop but Barbershop was funnier not saying this movie was not funny but Barbershop was funnier. Out of all the characters Dee-Dee was the best. This is a great movie i enjoyed it a lot. The acting and directing is good in this movie. If you have not seen this movie then i recommend you do
Let me say that every one in this film is looking good ya heard. the kid in the film set it over the top would like to see more of the kid in part 2.Vivca look good as a mom the boy match's perfectly' I heard a lot about this film so let's get it to the theater soon i just hope the July 4 release is for real. I meet the Dabier in Baltomore and he told me all about the film. He also told me about his up coming role's on The Shield the role of rebound on FX and guest starring role on HOUSE where he play's a 10 yr old cancer patient this show is on Fox I think this kid is on he way.I also heard the kid can rap my people out here in N.Y say the kid have some skills i see the kid name on the Billboard music contest 3th place in rap & hip hop he beat out people adults from all over the world he will have 1 song on the billboard compilation album.
I love Vivica so much that is why I am so sad that this movie was so disappointing. Too campy and a Beautyshop rip off. V is so much better than this. Tragic.
I only got to watch part of this... so not really sure if I like it or not but what I seen was good:)... so I give it 2 1/2 stars...LOL:)
You can only put but so many "messages" in movies. This movie was a little over the top. You can only put but so many stereotypes in a movie. And yes i get it, there are gay black guys that work in beauty sops and do hair, but I know there are ones that are so flamboyant and effeminate. I'm not against them, but for once I'd like to see a black movie with a "regular" gay black person so that the black people watching it don't go "look at this faggot!"
Jenny has her belief to keep her salon together as a family through thick and thin moments. She is a single mom who is keep up with herself to be sexy, full of being young, & very chic. She is a great mom to her son who respects her so well with all sweet thoughtfulness even though he has his belief to stand that we do have a black history. The salon is like a home that no one could ever had experience at all. It is worthy to buy & own as watchning it over again as you wish to!
