Chloe Reviews
I was constantly trying to figure out what was actually going on through this movie. It made no sense. Maybe that was the whole point? Either way it has ended and I'm just confused. Alright film but there's just something missing.
It’s okay I just love Julianne Moore
I usually like Liam Neeson movies but this was horrible. A grown professional physician keeps paying a young girl to keep flirting with her husband to test him, the girls keeps making up lies and the wife gets turned on by the stories and she sleeps with the girl. The girl falls through a cheap glass window and dies. 👎🏼
Passes the time and has stars who I like, but my gosh, this was idiotic.
Ridiculous story cheap sex . I would give it 0 ZERO stars if I could
Stellar casts, worth a watch.
A movie about love, passion, dissolving relationships that left me asking myself; What the hell did I just watch?
The premise was somewhat interesting, yet was obviously kept P G, which did not add to the intensity of the plot. Prostitutes rarely confuse sex with love, so that part was not believable. Nor that she would commit suicide after only knowing someone for such a short time.
Underrated, plot a bit predictable. House that the family lived in was aesthetically pleasing and backdrop of Toronto added to what was enjoyable. Moore, Neeson, and Seyfried were great.
I loved it, it tricked me it was awesome
The movie itself is interesting and with its short run time is to the point and doesn't wander at all. For a sexual thriller the movie works, barely, but enough to warrant a watch. It's funny how a scene In which Chloe gives someone a cd and he tells her he's already downloaded them, she then says that you don't have the artwork or booklet or an actually object to keep forever. That's way off topic but I so agree with not just music but films and any other media. Chloe works as an intense thriller that has some big twists.
This is a near perfect movie in my opinion. The acting is good, it has a good story, and it's entertaining. I Highly recommend this.
When Catherine (Julianne Moore), a justifiably suspicious but woefully insecure gynecologist, suspects that her husband David (Liam Neeson) is having extramarital affairs, she hires beautiful prostitute Chloe (Amanda Seyfried) to test David's fidelity and slowly comes to the realization that this is probably not the most prudent manner in which to resolve the situation. Atom Egoyan's Chloe, despite a strong cast and Egoyan's typical stylistic flourishes, ultimately flounders under the weight of its own stupidity and, while it is certainly entertaining at times, leaves you wondering how improbable the entire scenario actually is and, more importantly, how you managed to buy into it for so long.
It's nothing particularly new. Very similar to the erotic thrillers of the 90s. Such as hand that rocks the cradle, or single white female. I figured out the twist very early on. It feel like the ending was rushed and improbable. But it is hot and entertaining as a cheap thrill.
I don't know if this movie tried to hard to be film noir or what?? The only good point is about at 59 minutes you see Seyfried and Moore in a nude love scene. If it wasn't for that, BLAH. The ending was ??? did she have mommy issues and that is why she became a hooker??
Let’s be honest fellas, if your wife sends 2010 Amanda Seyfried to test your fidelity: you’re screwed.
It's an erotic film with good acting. Julianne Moore is iconic. It's written horribly. Also it wasn't filmed in a way that I found particularly exciting.
So shockingly bad, worst story line, even with all star cast it ends frustratingly non distributive. .
